The Fighting Irish are fighting! Be on your guard. They will continue to fight out the odds no matter how grisly the situation looks ahead of their last dance in the tandem. No, we are not issuing the alert. Riley Leonard, the key QB with all the workload on his shoulder, is spitting facts. You can judge it as a typical ‘fake it until you make it practice or believe it with all of your senses, but Leonard is putting his opponents on notice.
Riley Leonard oozed confidence despite some unfavorable circumstances
Notre Dame is going to get on their toes ahead of arguably the biggest fight in the franchise’s history since 1988. They will fight for the natty, the ultimate feather in their cap, after a picture-perfect season. The team has taken care of their business consistently and consummately since that one punch in the gut against Northern Illinois. Marcus Freeman has almost got the job done. But believe that their path to the helm of a session was far from a rose bed. But they fight all the odds and never expect to have an easy call. For the final night at Atlanta, Freeman won’t have a 100 percent healthy roster to flex.

A lot of key players, including Anthonie Knapp, and Rylie Mills, will sit back and watch the game with grave injuries. A sudden flu outbreak in the camp made the situation even worse to cope. But if you’re an Ohio State fan and think to exploit the weakness, Riley Leonard has a clear message for you.
”You guys know what it’s like to live in South Bend, especially in the wintertime. I mean, here you got to be gritty, you gotta be a blue-collar dude who’s not afraid to go through some stuff…this weather and this place isn’t for the weak-minded,” the QB phenom said during the Gojo and Golic show ahead of the grand showdown.
What is it about @NDFootball‘s mindset that has allowed them to overcome injuries this season?

The good news is that Jeremiyah Love will suit up healthy for the final, and the coach is not at all bothered by who won’t. He is still not sure about Rocco Spindler’s status, but regardless, Freeman believes they will ace over the 9.5-point favorite beating the odds.
The passion, and the fire run in their blood, you can’t doubt their ability to weather a tornado no matter what. But national analysts spot some danger points in Riley Leonard’s intangibles that need to be checked if they want to make history at Atlanta.
Riley Leonard can’t handle pressure like a pro
Ohio State has a clear edge over the Irish, both in betting odds and in a compact defensive line. On the top, Ryan Day has a bigger purpose to win it all this time. Since the Michigan loss, Day has kept on proving his worth as the sixth-year coach at Columbus through back-to-back playback wins. But everything will go in vain with just one slip on the final night. Fans are already getting on his nerves, dishing death threats to the family. So, it’s nothing but a do-or-die match for Day that reaches beyond the professional.

But Marcus Freeman and Leonard Riley have the mojo to fight off against anything and everything. But if you listen to Joel Klatt, the ever-outspoken Fox analyst, you will spot a fact that might send chills down the spine if you’re an Irish fan.
Klatt mentioned how Riley fell behind the line under pressure. His numbers are great, no doubt, but when the Ohio State front four will start to block his space, there’s no guarantee that he will be able to sustain.
The Buckeyes mounted 16 sacks in three games, and Jack Sawyer put the Cotton Bowl out of the Texas Longhorns’ hand by stripping Quinn Ewers and taking the ball 83 yards for a score. Absolutely no room for an error for Freeman and Co.

Riley has to play a remarkable, outstanding game, probably the best of his season, to back his words with actions. No other way left for the Irish to lift the trophy in Atlanta, surpassing the premium Big 10 rival on the field
