Can the Buffs bounce back without Omarion Miller, or is this season already a lost cause?

The Colorado Buffs not only faced a heartbreaking loss against the Wildcats last week but also lost one of their key players to injury for an entire season. Buffs wide receiver Omarion Miller suffered a season-ending leg injury on his left ankle. The situation is quite serious, and he will have to undergo surgery. However, his exit from the game is not taken well by his teammate and Buffs star QB Shedeur Sanders. Let’s see what he has to say about him.

Buffs star quarterback Shedeur Sanders feels the same as he shared his emotions regarding Miller’s exit today on his YouTube channel 2Legendary. With Shedeur Sanders said, “I was looking forward to playing with him, you know, this season, and I don’t know if he’s coming back or not; I’m not sure. But he’s a guy that definitely is a big impact guy, you know, that was going to find his way on the field. Whenever he got his opportunity, he always took advantage of it, so that’s what’s really sad right there.” Well, Miller’s exit for the entire season is a major setback for the team, as Omarion was one of the key players of the team.

However, the game’s outcome was greatly influenced by the injuries suffered by players, resulting in the Buffs’ defeat against the Wildcats. Even Shedeur Sanders also discussed the same on his today’s podcast.

Shedeur Sanders on Buffs injury taking over the game

It’s difficult when you lose all four of your exceptional wide receivers to injuries during a game with no assurance of their return. The team suffered a setback during the game when their versatile player, Travis Hunter, got injured in the shoulder. Additionally, three more receivers, Jimmy Horn Jr. with an ankle injury, Terrell Timmons Jr., and Omarion Miller, were also injured. Their absence was highly noticeable during the game, particularly in the underwhelming performance of the Buffs’ offensive line.

With their star quarterback, Shedeur, getting sacked six times in the entire game. Even Shedeur Sanders himself acknowledges the impact of their exit on the overall gameplay of the Buffs today on his podcast, saying, “Those are the guys that, you know, we spent all summer really working with and really getting time and really getting everything going. When everybody was in, you saw we were able to drive down the field as a machine.” Well, there are possibilities of Travis and Jimmy returning for the Buffs game against Arizona next week. Let’s see if they could turn the table around for the team.
