The daughter of Warren Sapp is a true daddy’s girl who never fails to show her father how much she values him. “Dad’s just a spectator now,” she said, referring to Warren Sapp’s transfer to the Buffs and how she now supports him. Moreover, she wrote, “I’m a cheerleader now; I wear their colors and everything.” However, the Lake Highland Preparatory School captain is now endorsing the King of R&B, demonstrating her deep passion for music. But it seems not only music but the irresistible charm of the singer leaves Sapp’s daughter in a swoon.

Mercedes, the daughter of Warren Sapp, posted an Instagram story a few hours ago showing that she was enjoying a new song video by Chris Brown, the R&B King. Her caption for the story said, “just watched this music video at work and I loved it.” But when she starts watching it repeatedly, Chris’s captivating appeal makes Warren Sapp’s daughter swoon with three magical words. After a few minutes, she posted another Instagram story with her enchanted words.

On her Instagram story, she wrote, “I love you.” She appears to respond to the words of Chris Brown’s new song, “RESIDUALS,” which was directed by Travis Colbert. As those lines say, “Please tell me who/ Who’s getting all my love? (Love)/ Who’s getting all my love?” Safe to say, Chris sold out 140 million records globally during his time as the King of R&B performers. Therefore, it makes sense that Warren Sapp’s daughter would have a magical reaction after listening to his music.

But aside from her love of music, she constantly follows in her father’s footsteps and shows an early aptitude for athletics.

Have an interesting take?

The daughter of Warren Sapp began her athletic career at Lake Highland Preparatory School as a goalkeeper. However, Mercedes is now a team’s captain. The journey from goalkeeper to captain was not easy. She received All-State recognition and the FACA 2A Player of the Year award in 2015. And she was instrumental in helping her high school team win the district title that year.

Mercedes played goalie for the Tigers, where she pursued her collegiate soccer career. She received recognition for her outstanding abilities and leadership on the field throughout her time there. Notably, she received First Team All-ASUN recognition and was awarded the 2020 ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year. In 2020, she was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Second Team.

And following her stint at Mizzou, Mercedes continued her collegiate soccer career at UNF. In the 2021 season, she started all 16 games in goal for UNF, covering 1,482 minutes and recording an average of 0.79 goals against, which put her seventh in UNF history for a single season. With all these awards, Warren Sapp must be one proud dad of a superstar athlete.

But Mercedes has more accomplishments than that. She worked as a university coordinator for athlete development. She also oversees a non-credit credential program. Above all, she is Warren Sapp’s staunchest ally and advocate. We hope she will do better in future with her father’s support.
