Longhorns fans are eating goooood!!. With what Steve Sarkisian has managed to get done with the roster, the Texas Longhorns are on a wild winning run. Behind much of the success has been the 2 top-notch quarterbacks that Sarkisian has grabbed; Arch Manning and our mullet king Quinn Ewers. Standing on the No.1 spot in the SEC, the views for Steve Sarkisian are quite nice. However, the fall from that spot would hurt a heck of a lot more.
The Roadrunners game took away Sark’ prized quarterback, Ewers. After being out for the last few Longhorns games, the star QB is coming back. On3 took to X to share, “Texas QB Quinn Ewers will return to the starting lineup Saturday vs. Oklahoma, Steve Sarkisian announced🤘”. This is big news for any Longhorns fan. In the 3 games Ewers got to play, he managed to rack up 8 touchdowns along with 691 yards.

However, after he was ruled out, it was Manning’s time to rule the turf. There is a saying; Even without Quinn Ewers, Texas will still end up winning the national championships. Arch Manning has been a monster. He has already averaged around 900 yards with 9 touchdowns under his belt.
With Ewers coming over to take back the reigns, it should be a joyous occasion for all the fans, right? Well, looks like the Sooners would end up becoming the final hurdle in Steve Sarkisian’s path to make Longhorns the next national champs.

Red River Rivalry
“Oklahoma 45, Texas 31. I will not be moved,” was the first thing a fan mentioned. Well, we ain’t gonna comment on the score, but we won’t be surprised if this does end up happening. See, you cannot take the Sooners lightly. Despite being in the No.18 spot, they still have a strong roster. Following this, 2 different fans mentioned the same thing; “OU is winning”.

Another fan noted, “Boooo.” Back in 2023, the Sooners managed to clutch a 34-30 win over the Longhorns. Even then, Sarkisian had Ewers by his side, but that didn’t help the team in any way. Could the same happen again? “Returning to lose,” another fan pointed out. It feels like history is repeating itself. Could Arch Manning be the better option for the rivalry game? Is Sarkisian making a mistake? Let us know what you think.
