A dynasty built on the ashes of SEC giants and the “proverbial kings” of CFB has found itself in a quartering…Now no one wants to get ripped apart into 4 pieces by 4 horses, right? More so after winning the Natty? No shot. But here we are. See, when Ryan Day and Co. lifted that natty cup, we knew that instant it was going to start a bidding war. Yeah, the Bucks instantly became the best program in CFB, with multiple 1000+ yard receivers in their room and a quarterback who could become the No.1 pick, but with the draft around the corner? Ryan Day was about to lose some top NFL talents and this new news? Yeah, it does not make things any better. This time, The North has to wrap that blanket and hope for the best…

“I had two different people tell me, no Oregon’s trying to get Carnell Tate from Ohio State along with Texas,” Dante Moore pointed out on Locked On Ducks. Hey, we all knew that NIL thing was going to backfire someday, right? Day can’t be the only one out there building $21 million rosters. Carnell Tate has been bombarded with multiple $1 million offers to hit that portal and transfer out of the Bucks. At this point, Day and Co. are quite literally scrambling to match the offers…

Looks like becoming the “best” in CFB has its downsides. Tate has gone on to collect some impressive stats this season. 733 yards with 4 TDs and 52 passes caught. If there is any other guy on the Bucks who has done better than this, then it’s Jeremiah Smith. Oh wait, there is trouble in paradise with this one as well.

“Jeremiah Smith has a $4.5M+ offer,” On3 pointed out on X. Holy —-. Okay, maybe we have underestimated the situation. $5.5 million hit? Seriously? Smith has been an absolute monster this season. With 1500+ yards on the board and some massive touchdowns against the Ducks. Like, what is the guarantee that Dan Lanning isn’t behind this poaching as well?

Like, he would want that guy on the roster. More so because Smith annihilated the Ducks’ defense with 2 massive 40+ yard TD runs. But wait, wait, wait!! The bad news doesn’t end here. Misery loves company and this is a quartering after all.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Ohio State survive the talent raid, or is their dynasty crumbling before our eyes?

RB loss on the horizon for the Buckeyes

Remember the draft situation we pointed out? Yeah, we all know that Will Howard is hitting the NFL and that ain’t no new news. What’s new is the fact that Day is going to lose out on a powerful RB. “Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins is declaring for the NFL Draft according to multiple reports,” The Scarlet and Grey Podcast pointed out on X.

Not exactly a shocker, but it is a troubling situation for Day. Eventually, Quinshon Judkins had to leave. His eligibility is up and sticking around brings pretty much nothing when his 2024 season had already been explosive enough.

However, this results in a massive hole in the running depth for the Bucks and we hope Day has a plan to fill that up. With the Texas x Ducks and the Smith and Tate situation already troubling the HC, adding the Judkins loss is like adding another hole in a sinking ship.
