The Pat McAfee show has become notorious for having some of the wildest moments in football history. Whether it is the host, Pat himself, standing next to a live cannon, or a full-blown $200k kicking contest for College GameDay. Pat McAfee is single-handedly making college football more fun and you can’t sit and deny that fact. But have you ever wondered what keeps this man rolling like he does on his show? Like that slick accent and the way he talks? Yeah, gotta thank a but-load of green stuff for that one!!
“I did the show for three hours man, they smoked so much weed and I was like, uh, and they’re like you, they’re like do you want any of this? Like, I gotta go back to Gasoline Alley, guys,” ESPN Senior Writer Ryan McGee pointed out. Pat and his run-ins with weed ain’t something new. Remember back in August? This guy was full-blown accused of being “high” throughout his ESPN show. “$85 million bro, h-ll, he’s high 80% of the time on his tv show it’s said!!” former NFL QB Ryan Leaf had mentioned.
But it is water under the bridge at this point. Like, who in their right mind cares if Pat is high or not? Most of the time, we want him to make things interesting for College GameDay and The Pat McAfee Show, and he does that flawlessly. Let’s get over this taboo that marijuana is illegal.

It’s 2025. Let them 420 enjoyers have some fun!! H-ll even the NCAA Division I council had accounted back in June that cannabis products will no longer be on the list of “banned drug class”. Now, we ain’t saying those kids should be allowed to smoke some and hit the practice range. However, some fun should be allowed and acceptable!!
It’s kind of funny that last year, Pat tried to push the NFL to allow marijuana use and follow the NBA’s lead. “I put out a tweet saying ‘Hey NFL, do it'” Pat mentioned on his show. Yeah, while his quest to get that legalized in the NFL continues, it does look like he won’t be able to bring the same change in WWE.

Picking College Football over RAW
Who in their right mind would even want to pick football over WWE? Pat, of course. More so cause it is the natty, people. “Pat McAfee appears set to miss WWE Raw in Dallas, with McAfee confirmed for Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship in Atlanta,” Wrestle Talk pointed out on X.
Hey, we don’t blame him. The country’s best defense, which has been clawing and gnawing through every game, is going up against the resurrected North. This entire ND vs. OSU game is going to be a blockbuster, folks. A lot is on the line.
