How many hours are left? You know Steve Sarkisian is pretty much getting a second chance at proving that his team is not “all talk”. Let’s be real here; compared to the other SEC teams, the Longhorns have had a much easier schedule. Yeah, A&M was a pain, but that rivalry hadn’t been played in around a decade. So, it all comes down to the Georgia game. 30-15 was the final result and people were quick to brand the Longhorns as a “fake” who’s sitting on top after winning against teams without a pulse. Now, Sarkisian can change it all. If they manage to win this redemption game against Georgia, then no one is gonna point fingers at them anymore.

And it looks like the fans believe that it will happen. “All I want for Christmas is for Georgia to lose” – was written on a placard from one of the Longhorns fans. But hey, what’s that? Are they asking Pat McAfee to become their Santa as well? “& Pat McAfee’s autograph” – was written on the same placard. How is it that this man always ends up finding himself in the weirdest situations? But hey, we don’t know about the Georgia loss yet (we are gonna talk about it). However, an autograph is still doable. McAfee, go help these fans out.

Also, here is the thing though: College GameDay has been weird today. See, going into this, for every CFB fan out there, the Bulldogs should be the favorite. It kind of makes. Carson Beck is finally back in the right mindset, and the offensive line and defensive line are performing well enough. It looks like that 10-28 loss to Ole Miss did wake Kirby Smart up.

However, the crew back at GameDay still does not think Georgia can make it. Nick Saban and Desmond Howard: both are Team Texas. This pick is kind of funny because it was Nick Saban who first called out Sarkisian on the weak schedule and their loss to Georgia.

McAfee is the only one who is gunning it for Georgia, so it looks like Texas fans have to wait for that autograph. Let’s break this down. Texas has the roster power with 2 solid Quarterbacks. If Quinn Ewers fails, we all know Arch Manning can carry. So what does Georgia have that can land them the win?

The first important factor is going to be Carson Beck. We know that this guy performed like a joke against Ole Miss but that is alright. While he has been having problems with turnovers, this is still a quarterback who is not injured (unlike Ewers) and has been averaging at least 300 yards in all of his games.

When the Longhorns went up against the Dawgs for the first time during this season, we had called it that Ewers had to be more careful against Beck. Both QBs are in a different league, Beck being the better of the two.

Another factor to keep in mind is that this could end up being a low-scoring game. Both teams have a solid offense, but Smart’s defensive line tends to edge out Texas. The last time these 2 giants met, Texas was stopped at 29 rushing yards. That’s bad.

On the other end, Trevor Etienne dominated with his run game, and Sarkisian and Co. had pretty much no answer to the rushes. So, will they come up with a fix this time? Or will Georgia get to run the football with ease? Make sure you tune in to find out.
