Can Ryan Day handle the pressure, or is Ohio State's legacy too much for him to bear?

2024 college football is in its second week. All the football programs are giving their best. The No. 2 Ohio State is one of the teams that is looking great on the field as of now. On the 8th of September, Ohio State dominated Western Michigan and won by 56 points to 0.

Head coach Ryan has been part of the Buckeyes since 2017, and he knows all of his players inside out. In a recent interview with Andy Staples from On3Sports, Day shared how he copes with the pressure of his high-stakes job and manages the demands of his role. “I remember the press conference after every game; you know it is part of the job. I never looked at it, as you don’t know. I always looked at it to see what I knew and what the opportunity had to offer.”

He added, “We also have to continue the thing you are talking about. We can’t drop off. So, making all these decisions is something you learn. You learn more about yourself as a coach. You know I am 45 years old now, and I was in a different position when I started. Every year you grow, and every year you learn.” Day’s perspective clearly highlights the evolution of his coaching journey. It also says that each year brings new challenges and learning experiences. In the world of sports, few people carry the weight of responsibilities; in college football, being a head coach comes with great responsibilities.
