Once again the college football world proved how it’s tough to be a head coach and even tougher being the head coach’s family members. But maybe they messed up with the wrong person. Nick Saban’s daughter Kristen showed whose daughter she is—the GOAT’s! Alabama Crimson Tide gifted the fans a great evening as they crushed Auburn Tigers 28-14 in their Iron Bowl game. But somehow the fans are yet to let go of the burden of a below-average season under their debut HC Kalen DeBoer. However, they outpoured their angst on poor Kristen. That’s when Saban’s daughter had to unleash her ‘don’t mess with me’ side with the haters as she came with a sharp retort on social media.

Finally, after a long time, November 30 ushered in some good news. The Crimson Tide had their fifth straight win over Auburn. Looks like DeBoer has finally started to live up to Saban’s standards. Well, was this enough to wash away the three losses that Alabama had this season? Definitely not! Till the players and the HC, the blame game was okay. But the fans went too far as they had to drag Kristen through the mud. Saban’s daughter is always known for her vibrant presence on social media, dropping her game-day looks. The Iron Bowl was no exception as she gave a fit check for the fans. And BOOM! She became the magnet of all the hate comments. Was she upset?

A bit! But Kristen knows how to turn them into her strength. She thought of giving the haters a lesson and protecting her peace, as the IG story read, “Actually you know what? It takes more than this to hurt my feelings. I plan to do a big Alabama game day outfits Poshmark sale soon and the earnings will go to an anti-bullying group.” So in that way, the haters know who the real boss is! But thanks to the haters for making her so strong from within as Kristen’s earlier story revealed how the negative remarks shattered her heart to pieces.

“It’s really disappointing to see such hateful comments from a fan base I thought as friends/ family for the last 17 years over an outfit and the way I walk (I have had an Achilles injury/abnormality since birth) For my own sanity, I am stepping away from sharing anything football/family related. Thank God for retirement,” wrote Kristen. If it was some other time, Saban’s daughter would have let it go. But she herself is dealing with a personal loss.

November’s emotional toll on Kristen Saban

Week 13 had indeed been an unlucky week for the Alabama Crimson Tide. DeBoer’s boys lost their shot at another SEC Championship Game as the Oklahoma Sooners handed out a 24-3 loss. With this, all the gates closed for them to clinch a potential spot in the College Football Playoff. As it was tough for the Bama boys, things have been tougher for Kristen.

On November 23, Saturday she took to her IG to announce the heartbreaking news of her beloved pet, her dog Gunner passing away. Later she posted a pic with her fur baby and the caption was enough to leave the fans in tears as it read, “I had to say goodbye to my first baby yesterday after 14 years of the most magical companionship. If you knew Gunner, you loved him as much as I did.”

She ended the note with, “I couldn’t have asked for a better pup. I’ll miss you forever, Gunnies.” Right before Gunner, Kristen Saban had another loss that felt too personal. On November 7, College GameDay host Kirk Herbstreit lost his golden retriever, Ben to cancer. And as we all know, Nick Saban’s daughter has been his biggest fan. So it’s obvious Kristen is ready to clap back at the negativity and find her calm.
