In a heartfelt Instagram story, Kristen shared stories about her father who, despite being retired, continues to patronize deserving causes. “Great Day :)” Kristen captioned the story while tagging her father, Nick Saban. In the picture, Nick and Terry can be seen hugging each other on the stage, while the stage is decorated with colorful balloons and the audience applauds by looking at the love they have for each other. Kristen often acknowledges her parents saying, “My parents have always been a team, whether on the field or in life,”.

The Legacy of Nick’s Kids Foundation

Kristen Saban Setas took to social media to spotlight the tireless charitable efforts of her parents, particularly focusing on their work through the Nick’s Kids Foundation. Her post highlighted how Nick and Terry Saban’s united front in their charitable endeavors continues to make a significant impact, inspiring countless others to join the cause. Perhaps one of the most significant forms of philanthropy that the couple has engaged in their marriage is through the Nick’s Kids Foundation, which they started in 2008. The foundation concentrates on children’s causes, charitable organizations, and educational endeavors, especially those impacting the disadvantaged youths in Alabama. 

A Family United in Philanthropy

Even in retirement, Nick and Terry Saban have remained steadfast in their commitment to the Nick’s Kids Foundation. With fewer working hours and more spare time, they were able to devote themselves to the concerns they had for society. Kristen Saban and her brother Nicholas Saban often attend the foundation’s functions and contribute to charitable activities. That kind of unity, that kind of purpose, Kristen respects and would want to keep going on and on. She said this adding that her parents hard working understanding of how to work as a team has taken the foundation far: “Their teamwork, both in life and in giving back, has always been inspiring to me.”.

Since then, up to date, the foundation has reached nearly 12 million dollars and has greatly enhanced the lives of many young people. The end of Nick Saban’s game plan may be at hand, but, as he settles into the next phase of his life, the memory soars. The Sabans have not only given back to the community through the football program but more so through the formation of the Nick’s Kids Foundation. The greatest accomplishments are not always those won on the playground, but those in people’s hearts, and lives.
