Saban made a surprise visit to the LSU Tigers after their victory over the Northwestern State Demons. It is the Tigers’ second consecutive victory of the season. 95-36! They deserved a treat. Youtube channel TJ Sports Queens shared how the meeting with Nick Saban left Amani Bartlett and Mikaylah Williams “STARSTUCK.” Mikaylah stated, “I think a lot of us were starstruck at first. You know, seeing him, for me, I was a little starstruck. I ain’t sure way too much. But, um, he gave us some very like motivating words.” Saban’s journey itself is so inspiring. When the man speaks, everyone just listens.
Mikaylah further mentioned how Saban is so motivating and added, “You know, as far as just life in general, like, it wasn’t just about sporting. He was just saying different motivational things in life, but I think it was some valuable words that he told us and took to heart.” After retiring from Alabama, Saban is enjoying life with his family and grandchildren. But how can someone keep him away from football and sports for too long? Therefore, he joined the most popular channel, ESPN, and now fans are fortunate to see him every week on TV.

Bartlett joined her teammate and expressed her feelings after meeting Saban. She said, “Yeah, you know, Nick Saban is the goat for everybody.” Indeed, he is the GOAT! “So obviously I was in there locked in on what he was saying, and just taking in all the words he was saying and really just ready to put that in play in my life and want to go forward with what he was saying, others for both.”

Like every game, head coach Kim Mulkey addressed the media post-game, but she was not sure the focus would soon shift to her meeting with legendary Nick Saban. Her experience was not different from that of her players.

The surprise visit really surprised Kim. She was in heaven! Yes! “I never met the man in my life. I was in heaven, I was in heaven, and when I heard he wanted to come to practice, I told Bob (Starkey) ‘You better run practice.’ I said cuz I’m probably going to spend the whole hour talking to him, and his wife also came,” We can see Saban’s presence not only had an impact on the players but on the HC herself.
“That was a highlight in my coaching career was to meet him, and um, I hope I get to do it again someday,” Kim concluded. We are sure Kim is going to flex the meeting for some time. What do you think?
