The ever-controversial Arch Manning factor continues to be bigger in the Texas tutelage. Of course, the Arch Manning vs Quinn Ewers debate is over for good as the former QB1 is out to expand his horizon in the pro. But things ain’t getting any easier for the Texas blueblood. I mean, now, all the attention shifted to his potential to live up to the unprecedented hype that he didn’t even ask for. Internet is blowing up with the positives and negatives of the dawn of the Manning era in Austin before it kicks off in August.
The kid has the stats in his favor. But a revamp in the previous depth chart and the lofty weight of expectation might get the better of his first year as the starter. But to dodge it, Texas brings a solid weapon back, namely RB CJ Baxter.

Arch Manning QB1 future finds great support in the returning Running Back
CJ Baxter, who missed the previous season due to a brutal knee injury, is poised to make a rampant comeback this season. Widely applauded for his explosive speed and versatility on the field, the 220 lbs. superstar can very well bring back the lost charm in the Longhorns’ dynamic offensive strategy. His return promises to bolster the team’s running game and add some depth to the roster. ”I think a guy like Baxter with that little bit extra 20-30 more pounds and a couple of extra inches is going to allow him to be really successful in doing that job, I just think, overall for the Longhorns people, forget about Baxter, he’s going to come onto the scene, but he’s going to be in a more Dynamic offensive position as well,” said Andrew Mize.

And how should it enhance the Arch Manning effect in the center? Andrew Mize, the SMI College Football Show host, continued, ”I think we talk about Arch Manning coming in, there’s going to be a lot more focus on the pass. Arch Manning is a little bit more dynamically mobile than a guy like yours, I think Manning is going to be, he’s going to be a really good fit for this offense, and I think it’s going to allow the running backs to open up everything, more pass, opens up the run a little bit of scrambling. From March Manning opens up the run, I think it’s going to be really exciting time for the Longhorns.”
However, it’s not only Baxter, but Texas also boasts a talented group of running backs and wide receivers including Ezavier Crowell, Kaliq Lockett, Michael Terry III, Jamie Ffrench, and Daylan McCutcheon, a bunch of young guys who are ready to make it big. But again, Arch has that over-burden of expectation, and the media exaggeration thing that his veteran dad, Cooper Manning, didn’t take very well citing to a potential bumpy road ahead.

Arch Manning didn’t give up on Texas through thick and thin
Regardless of the flakes and doubts, Manning is standing firm in his Texas dream. Sarkisian didn’t give him his flower unless and until Quinn left the building for good. Despite Manning’s breakout performance at UL Monroe and Mississippi State. Sarkisian kept on choosing Ewers over him. If he had used him a bit more, it would have been easier for Manning to deal with the pressure better.
However, with his deep loyalty instilled in his veins, Manning didn’t mind waiting in the wings for over two years. “I haven’t looked into transferring at all. I’m just focused on developing and helping this team in any way I can. And hopefully, one day playing for the University of Texas like I’ve always wanted to, the Texas poster boy said ahead of the past season in July.
It certainly didn’t feel good to wait around for your turn and keep getting pushed back, but as Arch said, ”There’s nowhere else I want to be, and it was my dream to play at Texas. I’m going to stick it out and play there eventually.”
