Did Deion Sanders' loyalty to his son cost the Buffs their game against K-State?

Deion Sanders took all the bumps after the Colorado Buffs’ humiliating loss against K-State in a rollercoaster game. From having a roaster loaded with talents to the astute mindset to chisel the best out of them, Coach Prime got everything that it took to lead his team to an incredible high so far. But as Buffs gave up two huge explosion plays, failing to tackle the stormy offensive line of the Wildcats, every past banger record started to wear thin. Trouble upon trouble? Shilo Sanders’ lackluster performance stirred the conversation big time. Deion Sanders, as a dad and coach, can’t help but receive the stings.

Despite Sanders being blunt while addressing his son’s callosity, dubbing it horrible in the post-game media call, Popular analyst Jason Whitlock on his podcast sees him as a whitewash and accused the GOAT ‘Prime Time’ of strategic nepotism. ”They rush him back into the lineup, he plays like a dog…acknowledges he plays like a dog… why was the kid never been during the game? How could that display go on and on and on the entire game? Deion be aware of it, the kids coming off injuries and Deion’s after the game, well he was rusty. He was this, he was that. How come you didn’t bench him?” the veteran analyst made the rightful argument.

He also pinpointed how the team showcased better overall control over the offense and defense amidst Shilo’s prolonged injury absence, implying the team got accustomed to his replacement. Reshuffling that at this crucial point in time (with Travis Sanders and a few more bigwigs not being around), only to get the HC’s son back on track, could be for anything but for the team’s sake.

The kid wets his pants and makes a fool of himself. His father’s aware of it. They never pull him from the game. ” Whitlock played up his point once again.

The Colorado troops collectively failed to leave their mark on the Autzen Stadium last Saturday. A loose defense, disorganized offense, and overall lack of effort to get the b–l in the grip added to their shame of week 7, ending a three-game winning streak since a week 2 fall against Nebraska. However, what Shilo Sanders’, 24, did was not only an affront to the team’s well-seated glory, but also a blow to his distinct bloodline. Coming off fresh from a forearm injury and a consequent surgery, nobody expected the best from the young phenom but expected the coach-esque ethical decision from his dad. Shilo Sanders, however, took all his father’s jibes and accepted that he played the worst game of his life.
