“Football has no feelings or emotions for you.” Standing on the second spot of the Big 12 list, this ain’t the time to take things lightly. Deion Sanders and Co. have sacrificed a heck to be where they are right now. After the Huskers mopped the floor with the Buffs, Deion Sanders bounced right back after learning from his mistakes. Now that the Buffs are finally in a solid spot this year, Deion ain’t gonna let it all go in vain.

So, on the latest press conference posted on the DNVR Sports YouTube, Deion Sanders gives Shedeur Sanders and Co. a much-needed reality check. “You learn a lot from successes. You don’t just learn from when you’re getting your bu-t kicked. Never seen a boxer get knocked out and say ‘I learned a lot from that'” Deion Sanders mentioned.

Well, the entire game against UCF was a spectacle! It was a clear reminder that Deion and his boys ain’t less than anyone else. To be able to handle a run-heavy team like that and block out the UCF QB KJ Jefferson and arguably one of the best running backs right now, RJ Harvey wasn’t an easy task.

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter managed to get it done because they learned from the wrong decisions they made against Nebraska. However, they cannot let this win get to their heads. While the Buffs are in a much better spot as compared to how they were doing last season, the moment Shedeur and Co. let this win get to their brains, they are doomed.

With their next big game right around the corner, this is the time for Shedeur to prove that he too belongs in the top spot for the Heisman. The Wildcats ain’t gonna make it easy, but neither will Coach Prime and his gang.

Deion Sanders’ final test

The tape of the Knights game is a testament that Deion Sanders and him bringing in that 150+ years of NFL experience on board paid off. With Robert Livingstone guiding the defense, the entire D-line has been almost perfect. They are fit to stand next to arguably one of the best run defense teams; Nebraska.

However, that ain’t all. Against UCF, Deion finally decided to switch up the offensive line formation. With the addition of the TE, Shedeur stands in a much better spot to make plays. Even with the pocket collapsing, Shedeur will get more than enough protection from the edge and this will allow him to do what only Shedeur Sanders can do; pull off miracle plays.

Still, you gotta keep in mind that this is the Wildcats we are talking about. Heck, they just crushed Oklahoma State 42-20 and have a solid 4-1 record, making them a tough and equal opponent for the Buffs. Their QB Avery Johnson is a solid player, and it makes sense why Deion Sanders gave the reality check to Shedeur and Co. All that we are left to see now is how Coach Prime manages to pull out of this one.
