While discussing the Huskers’ future against Rutgers next week, host Ari showed his concern regarding their 24-31 loss to Illinois, saying, “I was very high on Nebraska and Dylan Raiola three weeks ago, and they had their Friday night debacle. I don’t know how much that changed, Andy. I don’t know that I think that Nebraska all of a sudden is the old version of itself. I think they lost a game to a tough team” Talking about Dylan Raiola’s performance last week against Purdue, where he threw for 257 yards with a touchdown to give the Huskers the winning lead. That shows they have improved.

However, On3 host Ari also claimed that Dylan Raiola and the team could beat Rutgers, saying, “Rutgers has one of the best running backs in college football, pounds it out, and will be able to control the clock. If you don’t think there’s going to be a lot of points in this game, I think the game will be in question in the second half. I think that getting two scores for Rutgers feels pretty comfortable, but I think that Nebraska’s probably going to win this game.” 

Well, Rutgers does have the best running backs in college football. As in their last game against the Huskies, running back Sam Brown scored a 37-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, giving them an ultimate win of 21-18. However, the Huskers running back team is also not weak. Their star RB Emmett Johnson scored 50 rushing yards with 8 carries and 48 more yards with 3 catches, which made a big difference for them in the second half. Which is exactly what Ari is predicting about the two teams. Despite the team’s victory over Purdue, Dylan Raiola and his teammates should avoid repeating the errors made in their previous two games.
