The stakes are high in the 125th Army-Navy Game. It’s not just any game; it’s a crucial battle for bragging rights. In the previous match, the Navy emerged victorious with an impressive 31-13 score, securing the prestigious Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy. The students are rallying behind their quarterback, Blake Horvath, with soaring expectations. They see him as a true hero, ready to step up and deliver. It’s like the final scene of The Dark Knight, where Horvath faces a pivotal decision. How far is he willing to go to live up to the hype? The pressure is greater than ever before.

The highly anticipated epic battle between the Army and Navy has ended, leaving many shocked by the outcome. The Navy has come out on top as victorious, and it is time to celebrate the main star. It was quite visible in Navy’s star quarterback Blake Hovarth’s performance that he made the road to victory smooth for his team. Now CBS Sports is the first one to sing the song of appreciation for Blake’s gameplay, taking it to IG, saying, “A 4 TD day from Horvath helped Navy secure a win over Army.” However, what caught everyone’s attention was the Navy student’s continuous Heisman chants for Blake Horvath.

The four touchdowns against a strong team like Army are not everyone’s cup of tea. No wonder Blake Horvath was the one to bring home the commander-in-chief trophy. Even Blake couldn’t process the emotions this game gave him as he says, “I mean, very emotional, honestly, just to have gone through everything we have gone through the past few years and, you know, the play against a great Army team like this and to come out with the C.I.C. for our seniors, for the school, for everybody—it’s awesome.” Well, Blake had more rushing yards than the total offense of the Black Knights. Being a junior, that’s just mere excellence.

There is no doubt left after his today’s exceptional execution in the game that he sure deserves special recognition, but Heisman? Well, Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty might be upset with that outcome. See, this year there might be no chance for him to get one, but 311 yards with four touchdowns and 104 passing yards surely makes Blake Horvath a strong Heisman contender for next year. Till then, let’s see what’s next on the road for both teams.

What’s coming up next for both teams?

Now that the Navy has secured a remarkable win against the Black Knights, there are high chances that they might even win their upcoming bowl game in Oklahoma in the Armed Forces Bowl, which is going to take place on 27th December. With coach Brian Newberry’s third season with the team, they already have an alleged Heisman contender with the team, and this will only give them a better standing next year.

Talking about the Black Knights, the team is already showcasing strong gameplay this season with a record of 11-2 this season, and if not the playoffs, they still have a bowl game to prove themselves. But even that was at stake as Marshall decided to opt out of the bowl game because of so many transfers, but thankfully Louisiana Tech agreed to replace them. Now it’s all good for the Knights.
