It’s not as unique as Shedeur Sanders believes. That’s what analysts say. Mel Kiper and other experts predict that the ex-QB for the Buffs will be selected far lower in the 2025 NFL Draft, despite his insistence that he will be the first choice. The 2025 Draft is just three months away, and experts have doubled down on their predictions for the first choice. Depending on the standards of each commentator, Sanders, Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, and Cam Ward take turns. And among them, NFL franchises caught Shedeur’s attention at first glance.
Today is the 1st day of Shrine Bowl workouts. And during the workouts, Sanders was among the main celebrities present. Despite not preparing or playing in the game, Sanders attracted a sizable crowd. And he addressed several NFL coaches and staff members. Turron Davenport of ESPN reports that the CU QB has already made a positive impression. According to Davenport’s article, everyone he has spoken to regarding Shedeur has described him as “pleasant to work with” and “willing to do whatever they ask of him.”

Perhaps the quarterback had to choose to show off $250 merchandise after making an initial impression on NFL teams. As Sanders revealed on Instagram, it was a watch from the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore collection. The company was founded in 1993 and is well-known for its innovative and athletic designs that challenge the conventions of traditional watchmaking.
And Shedeur was showcasing a high-end model with a titanium case, a tourbillon, and chronograph complications in the Instagram picture. It was indeed shiny and stunning. But the quarterback’s NFL future didn’t appear to be bright.
Is Shedeur Sanders moving to the AFC West?
Kiper claims that the Titans will not overlook a generational talent such as Abdul Carter, an LB for PSU, or Hunter, Sanders’ ex-CU colleague. However, Shedeur might be available for other teams to acquire if the Titans decide not to sign him. And here’s come the Raiders of Las Vegas.

“I’m interested to see one thing, and I almost did it [in my mock draft] I’ll wait till April to do trade. ‘Get Up.’ I almost had the Raiders going from six to two to get Shedeur ahead of the Giants,” said ESPNS’ Kiper. Along with that, he said, “I think Tom Brady will se a little bit of himself in Shedeur. We know they have a relationship,” in reference to the positive relationship between the QB and Raiders minority stakeholder Tom Brady.
Even Shedeur’s recent remarks regarding the NFL choice, not in favor of the Titans. When it came to his NFL 2025 draft process, Shedeur was at the East-West Shrine Bowl. During the news conference, he spoke to reporters. Following that, Titans reporter Davenport shared an X post that read, “Shedeur Sanders: I’m the most guaranteed risk you take.”
But don’t forget about Shedeur’s status in the NFL 2025 draft scouting report. The assessment claims that over 70% of his pass attempts have been completed, demonstrating his exceptional efficiency throughout his collegiate career. He releases the ball smoothly and is a patient passer. And under pressure, Sanders moves well in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield.
