It’s not an everyday thing for a quarterback to shake up the football world, but here we are: USC’s redshirt junior quarterback Miller Moss just dropped a bombshell, revealing sensational news. While it’s not got everyone buzzing, his near and dear ones are quite proud of his decision. After a rollercoaster season, this Trojan is ready to roll for a new chapter, giving birth to chaos and drama all across the place. There was already a buzz about his possible shift to the portal after having a disastrous season with the Trojans, and you’re not wrong if you say so.

Yeah, a few moments ago, Moss took to Instagram to reflect on his tenure at USC Trojans, and to be honest, the guy’s got some serious gratitude vibes. “Being a USC Trojan was a lifelong dream of mine. Putting on the cardinal and gold and competing on behalf of my teammates and school is something I will forever take pride in. “

For those eyeing the score, Moss has been with the Trojans for four years. He spent a large part of his college football career as Caleb Williams’ understudy, waiting for his shot. When the 2024 season rolled around, he finally got his shot and got a starting gig, and the stats weren’t too shabby. Our guy has got 64.4% completion, 2555 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, not to forget the two rushing touchdowns.

Continuing his message, the QB wrote, “I poured everything I have into this body, heart, mind, and soul and am humbled by and proud of what my teammates and I accomplished and fought tooth and nail for. Looking towards the future, I am unwaveringly committed to becoming an even better quarterback and leader and to achieving this at the next level. In order to realize its goals, I am entering the transfer portal as a graduate student.”

Here’s the catch: the Trojans started the season strong, winning three of their first four games and racked up at No. 11 in the AP poll. Then yikes. They stumbled hard, failing to win in the next four out of five games. By November 5, Moss was benched for UNLV transfer Jayden Maiva. So, finally, with just one year of eligibility left, Moss is entering the transfer portal. To that, his girlfriend is the one standing strong with him.

She is the one who has been with Moss through thick and thin. So when Moss penned his farewell kind of letter on Instagram as he entered the portal, his girlfriend commented with a strong message, boosting his confidence.

So proud of you, can’t wait for you to take over the world,” Sofia wrote, as she’s the one who wants to see Moss achieving great heights. Adding a bit of spice to that, a common friend from USC also commented on his post, saying, “Does that mean I have to spend time with @Siahilderbrand now.” To that, Sofia replied, “Yes,”

The three of them share a great bond, and their common friend is kind of not happy that Moss is leaving them. Adding to that, Sofia also shared Miller Moss’s official letter on her Instagram story, saying, “Can’t wait to see where the world takes you, beyond proud.” In the end, his US career didn’t end with a Hollywood-style finish, but this move could be the plot twist in his story.
