A new era for the USC Trojans begins with Miller Moss

This season is going to be a bit different for Lincoln Riley and Co. For the first time, they will not be having their favorite QB Caleb Williams around to count on. But with Moss on the scene, worrying just seems like wasted energy. After all, it’s the same QB who lit up Louisville for six touchdowns in USC’s bowl game last December. The USC Heisman Trophy winner, Williams, and Moss had been teammates for two seasons.

Moss’ pocket skills were enough to woo his fans as he finished with a career-best 378 yards, on 27-for-36 in Trojans’ inaugural season over their SEC-foe LSU Tigers. And what makes fans pin their hopes on the QB? It’s the quintessential Williams touch that Moss carries with himself as the NFL star hyped him up with a tweet on September 4, “Mossy you did yo thing playa.”

Miller Moss, on the other hand, admitted how playing side-by-side with the now Chicago Bears star has helped him. “Going back and forth with him for those two years really helped shape me as a player really pushed competitively to be the person, and the player I am today,” stated the QB who is stepping up as a leader of USC.
