Mike Norvell has faced significant criticism since the start of the season. While college football heats up, the Florida State Seminoles, with a record of 6-1, are trying to find their footing. Is it too late to bounce back? We feel so! They had a chance to bounce back after they won against California on 21st September. Unfortunately, they hit a rough patch as struggles continued with losses to SMU, Clemson, and most recently, Duke. The 23-16 defeat to Duke marked their third consecutive loss, raising concerns about their performance. Oh, wait! HC Norvell has more bad news to share.

Seminoles’s key players, Kam Davis and Darius Washington, won’t play this week. It looks like mounting frustrations have led supporters to become somewhat immune to bad news as they grapple with the reality of a season that has not lived up to expectations.

Twitter account TJ Pittinger shared the bad news and tweeted, Hearing that Florida State will likely be without Kam Davis and Darius Washington this weekend when they travel to Miami to take on the Hurricanes. The tough task gets even tougher.” As soon as the news went viral, fans took no time to express their frustration. One of the fans expressed the confusion over the relevance of Florida State’s current struggles to their players’ availability and wrote, “Not sure what that has to do with 1-6 soon to be 1-7 FSU’s players not being able to play.”

Florida State has been hit hard by injuries this season, with several key players sidelined, including linebacker DJ Lundy and wide receiver Destyn Hill. The mounting injury list has left fans feeling disheartened, as it directly impacts the team’s performance on the field. As they prepare for upcoming games, the hope is that some injured players can return and help turn the season around. However, for now, the impact of these injuries is deeply felt among fans.

Fan frustration mounts over Mike Norvell’s team

Kam Davis had a golden opportunity to shine as Florida State is already shot on running backs. But it looks like the rising talent failed to take advantage of the opportunity. One frustrated fan expressed their feelings by saying, “I honestly don’t think it matters who plays anymore this year.” This sentiment reflects the growing disappointment among Florida State supporters.

But Davis made a crucial mistake at a key moment in the fourth quarter against Duke, which has raised concerns. While Florida State was trying to win the game, Davis lost the ball during a run, and guess what? The defense recovered it. And after that, things got worse for him and his team. After he made the play, he stayed down on the field, which led to a lower-body injury. However, Davis was not the only player who left the ground. Darius Washington accompanied him due to injury.

Fans are frustrated to the next level. And why not? Mike Norvell and his staff have disappointed not only the fans. But the experts, analysts, and insiders as well. One of the fans believes that some kind of curse or bad luck is affecting the Seminoles’ performance: “Someone really needs to call the Seminole Tribe and get one of the elders to come remove the hex the snub put on this team.”

Another fan sarcastically remarked, “Oh cool. So we’ll score 9 points instead of 12.” This comment reflects the growing skepticism among Florida State supporters regarding the team’s offensive capabilities. Adding to the conversation, one of the disappointed fans wrote, “On the offense side of the ba-l. Boys don’t score anyways.” These statements clearly echo the frustration felt by many as they watch their team fail to capitalize on opportunities.
