Have you heard of it? College Game Day is going to be back in Athens for the upcoming Georgia vs. Tennessee game on Saturday, November 16. It was already being predicted for good reasons. After all, this upcoming clash is going to be an indicator for both teams, who’s superior in college football right now.
Both teams are coming off of an amazing victory. Where no. 3 Georgia Bulldogs enter this game after a 28-10 nail-biting win over Ole Miss, while no. 7 Tennessee just took down Mississippi State with a 33-14 score. Now, college football analyst David Pollack, who’s infamous for his blunt reviews, highlighted the importance of this game and straightforwardly predicted who would be the winner.
On the November 10th episode of the David Pollack college football show, Pollack gave some major hints about this game. “And I would almost think that for both teams the whole minute with that win. Elimination losers out. LSU is gone. Georgia, Tennessee is gone. Georgia can’t lose at home to Tennessee. And I just I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

Georgia needs to win the upcoming game in Athens because they can’t afford to lose a home game. That, too, is when it’s a win-or-go-home situation for them. A team like Georgia, who are widely popular as SEC kings, can’t let that happen. With that, let’s learn the other deets of this upcoming game.
The upcoming Georgia vs. Tennessee game
The No. 7-ranked Vols beat their opponents in their last game with a 33-14 score, but they lost a gem to an injury. Their starting quarterback, Nico Iamaeleava, didn’t make it after the first half as he suffered an upper-body injury. After this, Tennessee secured just one result, without their starting quarterback.

But what about his return to their game against Georgia? well, head coach Josh Heupel just revealed that Iamaleava was still recovering from the injury and might not return for their upcoming game. What? It’s very, very sad news for the Vols! They are the underdogs, as per most of the college football betting and odds reports, and without Nico, it’s going to be even more difficult to stand a chance.
