All of us know that Saban has dedicated his life to the sport where he led the Alabama Crimson Tide for 17 long years. Yes! You and I have witnessed his long journey. Saban always celebrates his birthday during college football season. Which makes it extra special for the entire country. Let’s go back in time and see what Saban had to say about Alabama’s comeback.

Nick Saban’s faith in Alabama football

This season, the new head coach of Alabama Crimson Tide has seen a lot of ups and downs. However, they are trying their best to get back on track. Although Alabama won games against South Carolina, fans did not appreciate it, nor did the experts. Their loss against non-ranked team Vanderbilt was very disappointing. However, before they entered week 9, the former head coach of Alabama was confident that Alabama would win over the Missouri Tigers.

And guess what? They won by 34-0! Tide did not let even let Missouri start and dominated them since they stepped on the field. During a live broadcast from Bloomington, Saban made his prediction, which turned out to be true. He encouraged Kalen Deboer and his team and said, “I think Alabama’s bouncing back. I think Kalen has taken the right approach with the TNT, ‘Takes No Talent.’ Get all those things fixed that really are just discipline type things (and) that can make Alabama a really good team.” His comment shows his belief in Alabama football. It also highlights his love and respect for Kalen DeBoer.

No one was happy when he announced his retirement. However, every golden era eventually fades; similarly, Saban chooses what is best for him and his family. While Saban celebrates his birthday, you can catch our lastest episode of Think Thank, hosted by Trey Holder.
