Was the Nebraska loss a blessing in disguise for Shedeur Sanders and Colorado's future success?

Colorado Buff’s remarkable win of 48-21 against the UCF Knights has been making the news. The team is being appreciated constantly for their phenomenal performance. However, Coach Prime’s son Deion Sanders Jr. feels Buffs’ embarrassing loss of 28-10 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers was a blessing in disguise, which did wonders for them in UCF’s game.

In today’s episode of the Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney, when host and NFL star Matt asked Deion Sanders Jr. about how much he was proud of everybody at this point, to that Sanders Jr. replied with something that no one would have expected about QB Shedeur Sanders and team, saying, “So, you know, that’s when a loss turns into a lesson, and I think that’s what we definitely did. You know, we turned that loss into a lesson, and we just kept building off of that and changed things up, did a couple things different. But now it’s just like, finally, about time. It was a beautiful thing to see, bro. I love the look.” Well, if that’s the case, it really worked well for the team as the Knights allowed 418 yards of a total offense by Colorado, which is quite an improvement for the Buffs.

It’s because the Buffs offensive line struggled throughout their game against the Huskers. Their star quarterback Shedeur Sanders completed 23 out of his 38 passes and ran for 244 yards with a touchdown. If you think that’s impressive, then you are wrong because he was sacked five times as the offense could not protect him.

That’s why Deion Sanders Jr. claimed that their loss against Nebraska was important to uplift their gameplay, saying, “I definitely feel the Nebraska game was necessary; it needed to happen. It needed to grind us a little bit; it needed to help not only the people on the field but, you know, the people calling the shots too, to get better doing different things.”Nevertheless, their match against the UCF Knights sparked a wave of appreciation for the team.

Colorado Buffs getting appreciated ahead UCF showdown

The Colorado Buffs’ remarkable win against the UCF Knights has left everyone amazed. In the Triple Option Podcast, sportscaster and former college football coach Urban Meyer mentioned the Colorado Buffs exceptional gameplay and emphasized the reason why he never stopped believing in Deion Sanders and the team even after their poor accomplishments last season. “If you noticed, I never sold my stock, even last year when they kind of fell apart. So there is substance behind it. I don’t know how good they continue to be; you know, what’s the number of wins, but I’m telling you, there’s substance behind that program.” Said Meyer. Well, if such a renowned entity like Urban Meyer shows trust in them, what else do we need to look at?

However, Meyer is not the only one who thinks the Buffs have shown a drastic change in their execution. Even Deion Sanders and the team’s biggest critic, Paul Finebaum, was also amazed to witness their game against the UCF Knights. But Paul, being Paul, his appreciation is also like taking shots. “As someone who has been very critical of Deion Sanders, I have to say he has managed this team quite well in spite of all the bullets, all the attacks, and all the criticism, some of it coming from me,” said Paul while critically praising Coach Prime and the Buffs.
