The curious case of Shedeur Sanders and the run for the best QB title. Last year, this guy was the most sacked QB of the season. And only blaming the offensive line for it isn’t the solution. However, you cannot sit there and say that this season, Shedeur Sanders has shown some top-notch skills. Take the Kansas State game as a benchmark. Travis Hunter was out, and the entire WR depth was in shambles because of multiple injuries. What did Shedeur Sanders do? Went for 3 touchdowns and 388 yards.
So, it ain’t no wonder why Robert Griffin Ⅲ is team Shedeur Sanders. However, there is one problem. While RG3 calls Shedeur “the best QB in College Football and currently 2nd in my Heisman Top 5 after this weekend,” the people on the committee won’t agree. See, Griffin shared a clip of Deion Sanders talking about why Shedeur is not even mentioned on the Heisman list. “My bad – he’s my son, that’s why,” Coach Prime mentioned.

Shedeur Sanders is the best QB in College Football and currently 2nd in my Heisman Top 5 after this weekend. I have a vote and anyone not seeing him in the top 3 right now should have their voting privileges revoked for hatercism. @DeionSanders @ShedeurSanders @OuttaPocketRG3 https://t.co/4Bby0FmrXD

While Griffin has made his stance clear, the argument is still on. If you doubt Shedeur Sanders and his ability to turn around games for the Buffs, then you gotta roll the Baylor game tape. The Bears almost had it. It was 24-31 on the board in the 4th quarter and the Buffs barely had ANY time left.
With 2 seconds on the clock, Shedeur threw one of the best game-changing plays this season. A 43-yard Hail Mary to the endzone. LaJohntay Wester was there for the rescue as he caught that and the Buffs went into overtime with 31-31 on the board.
He-k if we even skip that game and look at something recent, like the Bearcats game. Shedeur made another great quick move over there. Back in the 2nd quarter, with the pocket collapsing, Shedeur made a 34-yard pass to Travis Hunter at the endzone and a touchdown. These last-minute plays and the decisions you gotta make—well, Shedeur is your guy for it. Dude has been on point with his accuracy and throws and has managed to average at least 300 yards in every single game. One thing is for sure, though. If Shedeur fails to crack the Heisman, we all know who can.

Travis Hunter: The Golden Child
2 games where Hunter failed to show what he was made of — Kansas State and Arizona. He was sidelined 2 times because of his shoulder injury! With the entire Ashton Jeanty debate going in favor of the Broncos RB with CBS Sports sharing the stats Jeanty has managed to grab as compared to the last 3 Heisman winning RBs, Hunter had to do something.
And well, he did. Came for the Bearcats showdown and went home with 150+ yards, 9 catches, and 2 solid touchdowns. This game single-handedly pushed Hunter’s previous Heisman odds of +1500 to +330 on FanDuel. He is now standing right behind Ducks QB Dillon Gabriel and with 4 games left on the board for the Buffs, Hunter could easily crack it to the top.

Well, someone’s gonna break that QB dominance, and it’ll either be Jeanty or 2-way star Travis Hunter.
