Georgia Bulldogs vs. Texas Longhorns became more electrifying with ESPN’s show “College Football Day” analyst Lee Corso reentry on the show. Fans are determined yet concerned about his health, as they are asking Lee Carso to stop coming to show as he is 89 years old. Following Carson’s entry in the show, a fan took to X to share his opinion on Lee Carson’s return, saying, “Honestly, I say let him go when he feels it’s ready to go. However, there is still one quarter left in the game. Let’s see if Texas Longhorns can turn things around. For now, let’s see how fans are reacting to Lee Carson’s comeback on ESPN Game Day.

Fans mixed reactions over Lee Carso’s return

Lee Carso’s return on College Football Day brings nostalgia for all CFB fans, especially when he is joining for a much-anticipated game between Texas and the Bulldogs. However, with happy emotion, there is also some concern rising among the fans post Carso’s return to the show. Following the notion An X user described his emotions taking a dig at Carso’s age he not only insulted him for being old and irrelevant but also took a mean shot at analyst Pat MacAfee, saying “Lee Corso should be off the show because he clearly doesn’t know where he is 75% of the time; it’s basically elder abuse. Pat MacAfee should be banished from this plane of existence for being literally one of the most annoying humans alive; it’s a crime against humanity.”

Have an interesting take?

This X user highlighted the fact that fans are too late in realizing that Lee Carso is old and needs to quit his job. The user took a very sarcastic shot by going 10 years back when Lee was 79 years old and said, “People are just now realizing Lee Corso is too old to be on TV? Welcome to 2014” Hands down, this has to be the roast .This fan compared US President Joe Biden’s age with Lee Carso, but the hidden fact here is that even Biden is the oldest sitting president in US history. This is one of the finest and crazy comparisons the fan made: “Who’s in worse shape: Joe Biden or Lee Corso?” Again, the same rant; this fan comment shows a very mixed emotion. In one instance, it’s showing reminiscence over Lee Carso’s presence in the game, but then suddenly it’s accusing ESPN of elder abuse. Fans are quite moody these days. “Seeing all the highlights from College GameDay that I missed this morning, it’s safe to say Lee Corso is finally old and senile enough to be in Congress. W-f are you doing @ESPN #ElderAbuse?”

Lee Carso’s unexpected return has sparked a debate, but overall it’s a positive development that he’s still motivated to work despite age restrictions. Hopefully, we’ll see him on more “game days.”
