Can LSU secure Jahkeem Stewart, or will another powerhouse swoop in and steal the show?

Jahkeem ‘Thanos” Stewart can be the next Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward in the upcoming year. Given his toned physique of 6’6 height and 280 pounds’ weight, he’s turning heads in the college football world. Every other elite program is running into the rat race of recruiting this 5-star Augustine high school prospect. However, the player has not yet broken his silence on his final destination; rumors are everywhere, predicting him to be at LSU, Oregon, and many other schools. It will be more than interesting, as two of the major uncommitted QBs and DEs of the football world will attend the game between LSU and Bama. Bryce Underwood and Jahkeem Stewart are all set to watch this game. While Underwood is already committed to Brian Kelly‘s team, what is the latest intel on Stewart?

On the November 7th episode of On Recruits, analyst Shea Dixon dropped the current update on Jahkeem Stewart. “He had a top two, and he’s taken two visits. So, I don’t know if we presume Ohio State and Oregon to be those teams. My pick has been in LSU from when he was in the 2026 class. Now that things are in a of this current crop, 2025, everything’s expedited, not just for LSU, but for everyone.” With that, Dixon recalled Jahkeem’s Oregon visit and now that he’s going to visit LSU.

However, Brian Kelly may have wanted to be done with Stewart’s commitment. However, that has yet to materialize. It does not help Kelly’s case that his other commit in Bryce Underwood has been in the headlines, with the Wolverines wanting to make a big splash to have the player. When it comes to Stewart, one man holds the key.

Dixon pointed out LSU’s associate head coach and running backs coach, Frank Wilson, who shares strong ties with St. Augustine High School and can play a role in Jahkeem’s commitment. “The one thing LSU has in their corner is Frank Wilson. And when Jahkeem went from St. Augustine, another school that Frank’s very tied into, I think that was huge for LSU. I think it still sets up well. I still have LSU as the team up front. I just don’t think it’s a lot. I think that Jahkeen doesn’t know where he’s going yet. Yeah, it’s really hard for me.”
