13 years of coaching college football and Lane Kiffin finally hit a milestone! Thanks to the support of loved ones, the Ole Miss HC made a monumental mark with his last 27-3 victory over South Carolina. But amidst all the loyal fans, no one can beat the loving gesture that his biggest cheerleader has in store for him.

It comes without surprise that Lane Kiffin’s oldest daughter Landry Kiffin is her dad’s “No. 1 fan.” The 49-year-old Rebels HC just won his 100th career game as a CFB head coach and his 19-year-old daughter baked a cake to celebrate the milestone! In his X post on October 9, Lane Kiffin posted a picture of a beautiful white cake from Landry with blue icing with “100 wins” beautifully lettered in the center of the cake. She also left a signed note above which read – “Keep it up always. Your No. 1 fan. Love you!” Lane Kiffin captioned, “Thank you Landry 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵❤️❤️❤️❤️

Interestingly, Lane Kiffin was able to secure this milestone at Ole Miss because of Landry. He could’ve been at Auburn as he showed interest in the HC vacancy during the 2022 offseason. But Landry, who followed Lane Kiffin to Ole Miss and is now a senior, convinced him to stay saying, “You left me one time for another job when you went to Alabama, and now I’m here with you and you’re going to do it again?”

Landry even got her friends together to compile a slideshow of them with Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss. Needless to say, he couldn’t refuse such a gesture and decided to remain at Oxford. And that’s a good thing because starting from 2023, he dominated their schedule and holds 39 wins at Ole Miss out of the 100 career wins. Kiffin made sure all the good memories are etched in the “100” foiled balloons which had pictures of memorable moments such as his late father Monte Kiffin with grandson Knox Kiffin and his memories from his first college football coaching experience. Let’s explore his wins from other programs.

Exploring Lane Kiffin’s coaching career

Lane Kiffin’s first head coaching career didn’t begin with a college football program. He coached NFL’s Oakland Raiders from 2007 to 08, which ended in a messy breakup that paved the way for his first college football coaching job at Tennessee in 2009. With the Volunteers, he recorded seven wins in one season before transferring to USC, where he coached from 2010 to 13. In his four years with the Trojans, he recorded 28 wins before moving on to Florida Atlantic where he secured 26 wins in three seasons.

Lane Kiffin’s programs have secured .500 or better in 11 of 12 seasons so far. In his 12 years of coaching, his teams dominated with 10+ wins in six seasons, including two at Ole Miss. This season has been on smooth sailing before Kentucky came to mess up their pristine record in Week 5. But the Week 6 impressive win over the Gamecocks put the Rebels back on track. Ole Miss is now 5-1 into the season with their next game set against No. 13 LSU.
