Can the Rebels maintain their momentum, or will Lane Kiffin's future uncertainty derail them?

The game last Saturday revealed a lot about the Ole Miss Rebels—they’re not a team to be underestimated. Not only are the Rebels refueled and re-energized as a playoff contender, but they also showed great resilience against the Arkansas Razorbacks, leading by 32 points. Currently, the team has a strong record of 7 wins and 2 losses this season. However, after the game, a surprising fact emerged about Rebel’s head coach, Lane Kiffin, and his future with the team, generating much anticipation.

On November 3rd, famous media personality and former tight-end coach of Arizona State, Adam Breneman, took to his official Instagram account to share shocking information about Lane Kiffin after the team’s recent win. “Ole Miss is back in business; they are back; we thought they were gone; we thought they were just going to ride off and just never be talked about the rest of the season; Lane Kiffin was going to quit,” he said. Well, after the team’s shocking blow against LSU, there were speculations that Kiffin might leave the program as the loss almost crushed their playoff hopes, but knowing it was a real possibility is very shocking.

However, now that the Ole Miss Rebels are back on track, they might not want to let Kiffin go anytime soon. Even Adam praised the team’s overall performance against the Razorbacks, saying, “The way they use pace and tempo to control that game, that is like textbook Lane Kiffin offense; show them the tape from the Arkansas game.” That’s very true. The Rebels strong offense made their way in the game. They had a total of 694 yards of offense against Arkansas, which is beyond exception.

After two embarrassing losses to the Kentucky Wildcats and LSU Tigers, the team’s much-needed comeback is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Not only did the loss raise questions on their positioning in the game but also raised doubts about Kiffin’s candidature. Now, let’s hear from head coach Lane Kiffin about their recent victory.
