Should Lane Kiffin prioritize family over Ole Miss's playoff dreams? What's your take on this dilemma?

Landry Kiffin’s birthday is coming soon! This leaves her father, Lane Kiffin, caught in the crossfire of either choosing to lead his team in the playoffs or celebrating Landry’s 20th birthday. The HC for the Ole Miss Rebels joined the program in 2020. Since then, he has led the Rebels to 2 Bowl wins but has yet to land them a championship trophy. Kiffin had the best season during his past 4 seasons in 2023. The team finished with a score of 11-2 and ranked 2nd in the SEC Conference. The fans are anticipating a phenomenal season from Kiffin’s team this year, which ends with the dream of a natty being fulfilled. Yet, this one personal roadblock could deter Kiffin’s plans of taking the team all the way if Landry’s tantrums matter more than the glory of the Ole Miss Rebels.

Landry Kiffin and her sister, Presley Kiffin, are both famous TikTok personalities, with both having 74,500 and 17100 followers, respectively. Both of them are often seen bringing their renowned father to their channels. In Landry’s latest TikTok, Lane sat beside his daughter as she went through her entire makeup tutorial. During one conversation between the father-daughter pair, Landry was discussing her 20th birthday plans. They are apparently clashing with the playoff dates if the Ole Miss Rebels make it somehow. As such, Kiffin was seen battling an internal conflict to decide how not to upset his daughter.

The video saw Landry discussing her birthday plans and said, “So, I’ve been thinking about planning my birthday. And I think I want to go to New York during December again, okay?” Lane thought about it for a while, and it instantly struck him that the playoffs would be held in December. He replied with, “Wait, we’re supposed to, like, hopefully, be in the playoffs. The thirteenth? December. Yeah. Uh, yeah, I think so. Do you know anything about the playoffs?”

This is where the conversation ended before Landry moved on to the topic of testing her father’s knowledge of makeup. It is evident that Kiffin shares quite a close relationship with his daughters. He will now probably share an even closer one with his son, Knox Kiffin since he’s now becoming ready to join the world of college football.

Knox Kiffin is just 15 years old. Yet, he’s already showing off his electric football skills and following in the footsteps of his father. He is currently a quarterback at the Palos Verdes High School and is quite the player.

Knox possesses a strong throwing arm. Recently, he received his first official offer from Division II Mississippi College for the 2028 season after attending a camp with the program this year. He also received an offer from the SMU Mustangs in June.

Before the start of the 2024 season, Lane posted an Instagram post, endearing his son and wrote, “Follow your dreams son!! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. ❤️” Knox already has an offer on the table from a power conference team in the Mustangs and if he consistently keeps getting better, the fans might just get to witness the father-son duo playing together in the 2028 season, much like the pairing of Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders.
