Lane Kiffin might not be the best coach in Ole Miss history, but that doesn’t mean he is not the best father in the house. Coach Kiffin loves to spoil his kids Landry, Parsley, and Knox with plenty of surprise gifts, a lot of quality time, and, most importantly, the much-needed shout-out from time to time. His bond with the firstborn, Landry Kiffin has always been in the pivot of the college football discussion. From convincing her dad to stay at Ole Miss, turning back to the Auburn paycheck to indulging in the fun indoor games during luxurious family vacations, Landry defines the term daddy’s girl. But wait, does it sound like the veteran head coach loves his younger daughter a little less?
Well, then, you have a partial view of the story. Kiffin shares an emotive bond with Presley and never hesitates to be the biggest cheerleader in her every success, no matter how small or big.

Lane Kiffin gives a sweet shoutout to daughter Presley Kiffin
Lane raised up his kids in a lot of abundance. They have the luxury of getting everything at their knees even before they ask for it. But that doesn’t mean they are just some grown-up clones whose biggest flex is their father’s last name. No, Presley Kiffin, the youngest among all, has been much more than a pretty face and an adorable child to his dad. The kid got extraordinary talent in volleyball that eventually culminated in a rousing career with USC, the same program that once thrown his father under the bus. It’s indeed a different taste of pride. Dad Kiffin just casually threw the biggest father-daughter goal on social media, posting a photo of Presley practicing his craft with the caption, ‘So proud of you, Pres!’

As a budding athlete, Presley has her priorities set. In high school, becoming a prominent player for Mater Dei girls volleyball her senior year, she aimed to find a college experience where athletics “overpowers everything else,” as Presley said. So, when USC women’s volleyball made the first move, there begs an obvious question. How did it feel to join the same school where she once stood at the end zone with a toothy grin on his father’s last day?
The 17-year-old explained, “It was like a done deal, that like – nothing could’ve gotten in the way.” “But I think it’s also just a different thing, with a different sport. Like starting my own name instead of following his path.” But back in 2013, watching her father distressed was absolutely heartbroken, but that wouldn’t reflect on her career. Presley admitted, “I think, in a way, we went our separate ways, but not with any intention to diss on each other or anything like that.”
However, it’s not just Lane Kiffin seems bothered about his daughter’s professional growth, he is also equally invested in his child’s emotional well-being as well.

Lane Kiffin can’t take risks with his daughters’ hearts
Protecting the hearts of his princesses’ hearts from the modern claptrap of boys has been one of the top responsibilities of dad Kiffin. Being a girl’s dad is fascinating, but it challenges you in a way like no other. Kiffin knows his duty the best. He never resembles the dominating father figure who restricts his daughters from creating the lives of their choices. He is just making sure they are aware of the consequences before taking any rash step in their adamant teenage.
On February 10, Kiffin re-shared a clip from the Landman series featuring the great Billy Bob Thornton. In it, the character Lt. Tommy Norris and his daughter, Ainsley, have a soulful conversation about love. The caption of the reel read, “Those young tender hearts have a lot to learn about life and relationships 🩷 Gotta love Billy Bob Thorton, putting it up there bluntly. #landman.” The clip features Norris sharing his stance on love and relationships: “Honey, every romantic relationship you’ll ever have will be a failure, except the last one. Do you think this is the last relationship you’re ever gonna have?”

Relating to his daughters’ chaotic love life, Kiffin wrote in the caption, ”Explaining to my teenage daughter that her first boyfriend will not be her last.” The post made a lot of sense since Landry had already gone through a bitter heartbreak with QB Waker Howard in the past. As far as Presley is concerned, she is romantically connected with Owen Verna, the Mater Dei basketball player, and a heartbreak like his sister is the last thing her dad would ever want.
