While Landry partied with her friends, Kiffin and Layla were both on hand to celebrate it. The 49-year-old former quarterback posted a bunch of snaps from the intimate party on his Instagram Stories. But fans couldn’t miss how many of those featured Layla by his side! But that is not the most intriguing part.

While Layla’s Instagram profile is private, Kiffin posted a screenshot of her heartfelt birthday post for their eldest daughter and even went on to highlight his favorite parts! Layla wrote, “Happy Birthday Landry… you have taught me more than you know; how you expand my heart in ways I never knew were possible, to learn to let go with love so you could grow, and to experience an overwhelming pride as I watch you become the amazing woman that you are.”  And if these were not enough, then look at this.

Kiffin commented on that Instagram post, “Amazing words and perspective Layla. 👏👏👏. Glad you’re finally moving here with us!!! #ComeToTheSip #KnoxOHS, 🏡 ❤️💙❤️💙.” Making matters even more interesting, Landry replied to the former USC Trojans head coach with two heart emojis!

Naturally, the comment has fans buzzing, with some speculating about whether Layla is moving to Oxford to reunite with Kiffin. Others took it as an innocent remark, suggesting she’s relocating to be closer to Landry, who recently joined Ole Miss. While the hashtag “#ComeToTheSip” and Kiffin’s enthusiasm have raised eyebrows, it’s important to note there’s no confirmation of reconciliation.

Kiffin and Layla have maintained a co-parenting relationship since their divorce in 2016, emphasizing their kids’ well-being as their top priority. With Landry now attending Ole Miss, Presley is committed to USC’s volleyball team, and Knox is an aspiring high school quarterback. However, Knox has just started his freshman year at Palos Verdes High School in California. Therefore, relocating to Mississippi would be a huge move.

Notably, despite being a Class of 2028 prospect, Knox has already received college scholarship offers from SMU, Arkansas State, and Division II Mississippi College, the Clarion Ledger had reported. So, will Ole Miss eventually follow suit with Knox? According to the elder Kiffin, not just yet. “We have kind of a higher standard for the quarterbacks we take. We’ll keep him hungry,” Lane Kiffin had joked in June, as reported by The Clarion Ledger. Meanwhile, Lane Kiffin himself has a reason to stay in Ole Miss.

ESPN analyst Chris Low revealed that Landry played a key role in her father’s decision to stay at Ole Miss, even when Auburn came knocking last year.

“Kiffin was leaning toward taking the Auburn job toward the end of the 2022 season when Landry came to him with a heartfelt message,” Low wrote. That message reportedly persuaded Kiffin to remain in Oxford, where he’s built one of the SEC’s most competitive programs.

Landry isn’t the only star in the Kiffin family. Presley Kiffin, their middle child, is a volleyball standout set to join USC next year, marking a return to the university where Lane coached from 2001 to 2007.
