College football coaches are often seen as father figures to their players, but the moment things go south, they’re the first ones thrown under the bus. Luckily, real life is a little different. At home, these guys are superheroes to their kids. Take Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin, for instance. Even at 49, he’s totally dialed into the social media scene. After all, what’s a better way to school your kids—and this generation—on life lessons than through the ‘gram?

Being the father of three kids, Kiffin never really loses a moment to guide his kids to be on the right track. Right now, he came up with some strong advice for his daughter, Presley.

How Lane Kiffin is protecting his daughters’ hearts

Now being a parent of two daughters is really heartwarming and tough at the same time. Earlier too, Kiffin shared how his daughters Presley who is 18 and 20-year-old Landry, are totally different when it comes to their personalities. But no matter what, the concerned father would protect his princesses’ hearts in every way possible. Kiffin, though, wants to make sure his daughters are set. Now that they’re both adults, he’s given them some relationship advice—his way of doing his part.

On February 10, he reshared a clip from the Landman series featuring the great Billy Bob Thornton. In it, the character Lt. Tommy Norris has a heart-to-heart conversation with his daughter, Ainsley. The caption of the reel read, “Those young tender hearts have a lot to learn about life and relationships 🩷 Gotta love Billy Bob Thorton putting it up there bluntly. #landman.” The clip starts with Norris’ view on love and relationships: “Honey, every romantic relationship you’ll ever have will be a failure, except the last one. Do you think this is the last relationship you’re ever gonna have?”

Lane Kiffin might have seen himself in Norris’ place, as the caption read, “Explaining to my teenage daughter that her first boyfriend will not be her last.” Kiffin can’t let his daughters be in pain again. After all, his older daughter Landry did endure a messy breakup with the former Ole Miss quarterback Walker Howard. As per the hush-hush, the reason behind Howard hitting the transfer portal was things turning bitter with the HC’s daughter. So, maybe it is hinted for Presley to take notes. Well, she is too busy to drop an official post about her love life.

Just as she has been committed to the USC in her professional life, here comes some big news about the commitment in her personal life. On February 6, she posted a lovey-dovey photo with her boyfriend on Instagram with the fire heart emojis. Like Presley, her sweetheart too belongs to the world of sports. Yes, that’s none other than Owen Verna, the Mater Dei basketball player who committed to the St. Joseph’s Hawks back in June.

On February 6, he announced he had officially signed with the team. And how could Lane Kiffin’s daughter not celebrate Verna’s milestone? So there came the IG post. Just like the Ole Miss HC has some relationship advice for his daughters, he also wants both of them to be each other’s pillar of strength. On January 19, Kiffin shared yet another reel that had a million-dollar advice in it. It read, “I hope every older realises one day that their annoying little sister will become their best friend for life 🤍.” He didn’t forget to tag his daughters. That’s how Lane Kiffin is. No lectures, just life lessons served cool!
