Can Lane Kiffin finally prove his worth against Georgia, or is he destined to fall short again?

College football season is setting off to a new level of competition post-playoff ranking release. The latest on the watch is No. 16 Ole Miss gearing up to face off the No. 2. Georgia Bulldogs. The two teams had a different trajectory, heading to a front clash. While Kirby Smart will look to improve their position on the top 12 chart through an easy win, Lane Kiffin will have to go all-in for a hard-fought victory to keep their playoff hope alive. While scouting the odds before the week 11 blockbuster game, Paul Finebaum doesn’t like to sugarcoat his words to give the Rebels any false hope.

Ole Miss has dropped two games by a field goal against Kentucky and LSU. While a statement win against Arkansas State will serve them as a massive confidence boost, ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum doesn’t think it will give them an edge over the premium SEC giant, Georgia Bulldogs. The narrative this week is that Carson Beck plays a clean game. This is a guy who started the season as one of the Heisman favorites, possible number-one pick, and he has really struggled. He’s throwing interceptions more than anybody. Georgia needs to figure that out, and they’re up against Jackson Dart, who’s an outstanding quarterback, but something tells me Kirby Smart knows how to win big games, and Lane Kiffin has never won a big game,” said the ESPN mogul, sending a subtle warning to Lane Kiffin.

The underdog Ole Miss coach didn’t just expect to fall heavily on the Carson Beck woes of the opponent. Rather, Kiffin sees it as a very fixable problem to have. Beck has had a lot of social media heat since he demoralized a statement offense game for the Bulldogs during their winning match-up against the Florida Gators. But Kiffin doesn’t keep him behind.

The team has also been dealing with some injury bugs, with Henry Parrish being benched with a grave left leg injury. But amidst all the odds, the mammoth progress in Lane Kiffin’s defensive front demands attention.

Have an interesting take?

The Ole Miss offense is, as usual, on the tear, as quarterback Jaxson Dart and star wide receiver Tre Harris back continues to bring out a banger like the last year. But this year, they have worked on their loopholes. The Rebels defense comes up to the discussion as their biggest instrument to win this season. LSU coach Brian Kelly appreciated the huge performance gap from last year when the Ole Miss defense allowed 49 points and 637 yards to the Tigers. Thanks to the premium defensive guys like Walter Nolen, Princely Umanmielen, Chris Paul Jr.

Kirby Smart also saw the different Ole Miss this year, not doing the blunder to take them casually anymore. The veteran Georgia coach said they are certainly excited about another potential win on the card but didn’t expect it to be lopsided at all as Ole Miss got some tremendous talents on their court.

Georgia knocked out the Rebels last year, trailing by 34. But this year their improved defense and Dart’s uncanny football is making Smart a bit more cautious in his approach than usual. Dubbing Lane Kiffin as the greatest defensive mind, Smart believe the team as a whole can very much match with what Georgia has in their store. whether or not Kiffin pulls off an upset,tThe fight is going to be a nail-biting show.
