The No. 9 Rebels fell to 8-3 (4-3 SEC) on the season after losing to the Gators in Gainesville. Now that’s something that Kiffin and co. had not expected. After all, the Rebels were reigning high and had an 84% chance to make it to the playoffs with a win. However, the 10-point favorite Ole Miss lost for the first time in four games as they faltered in scoring three trips inside the red zone. Kiffin’s boys even had a hard time as they dropped countless passes. The Gators also chose to multiply their pain by sacking the Rebels QB Jaxson Dart FOUR TIMES! Well, such back-to-back blunders are not common for Kiffin’s program. There must have been something wrong on Saturday, right? Yes, after all, their lucky charm, Lane Kiffin’s daughter, Landry was not present in the stadium, that’s what made their fortune tank run dry. On the game day, while the Gators were stripping off the Rebels on the gridiron, Kiffin’s daughter was busy living her best life.

Unfortunately, Landry could not make up for the group pic. Already this season is a bit tough for the Rebels HC since he lost his father, the legendary Monte Kiffin at the age of 84 back in July. Even in his last days, the ex-Nebraska DC has spread his coaching magic over his son’s program. Now that Monte had left for the heavenly abode, HC Kiffin thought of paying his late father a tribute.

So the Rebels HC posted the picture on X and wrote, “Hi Dad. We are all here. 💙. Miss you.” But maybe there might have been some serious reason behind Landry not being able to fly off to Gainesville. After all, her past gestures were enough to prove herself as the No.1 Ole Miss fan. Do you know that it was Landry who convinced her dad to stay in Ole Miss?
