Life always has its share of good and bad. The Ole Miss Rebels HC Lane Kiffin, for instance, had a dull 2024 season. He and his boys could not make it to the playoffs. But at least back home, Kiffin had a loving family to greet him with open arms. He is the proud father of three lovely children—daughters Landry and Presley Kiffin and son Knox Kiffin. But the Kiffin fam isn’t just about love; they’re true cheerleaders!
Lane Kiffin’s son, Knox, a rising quarterback in the class of 2028, is already getting college attention. And you know who’s his biggest cheerleader besides his dad? His sister, Landry.

Knox has started things early. He is now 16 years old. The Ole Miss HC’s son is a quarterback at Palos Verdes High School. The young chap has already turned into a social media sensation. All thanks to his football skills. Last December, Lane posted a story of his son on his IG that showed Knox busy in his practice drills for the high school football team. And fans could not let their eyes off his arm strength. Already suitors have swarming around Knox. Even though he is a prospect for the class of 2028, he had offers from multiple programs. Here came another big opportunity for Knox. On January 28, the HC’s son revealed it through an IG post.
The caption read, “Blessed to receive a offer from Georgia State University #AGTG.” The comment section outpoured with love and support for the tough quarterback in the making. Out of them, one of the comments stood out. That’s from none other than Knox’s elder sister, Landry. She could no longer contain her excitement seeing her lil brother soar high. So Landry decided to hype Knox even more and wrote, “Ayeee.”

After all, this marked Knox’s fourth offer in a row. Last year, SMU Mustangs’ QB coach, D’Eriq King, handed Knox a lucrative scholarship offer. Right after that, he fell under Arkansas State’s radar and handed over a football scholarship to the Palos Verdes High School freshman. This year too began on a high note for Knox.
On January 24, Lane’s son posted, “After a great conversation with @coachbrowndb I am blessed to receive a offer from Western Kentucky University #AGTG.” Looks like Knox has been following his father’s advice quite diligently.

Lane Kiffin’s touching words of wisdom for son Knox
After all, dads will always be the kids’ biggest cheerleaders. In this case, Lane ensured not to burden his son with high expectations. Rather, he wanted Knox to follow whatever path his heart longed for. Last June 15th, Lane Kiffin got nostalgic and shared an adorable throwback pic of his son, little Knox, looking up at something with that classic Kiffin grin. Not to miss his sparkly eyes! The caption of the post read, “Follow your dreams son!! Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. ❤️”
Lucky man, Lane. His son has chosen to follow in his footsteps. Now that Knox is not little anymore, the proud father has a special message for his son on his 16th birthday. On January 13, the youngest member of the Kiffin fam clocked another year on earth. Like always, Lane had a heartfelt message for his son. The Ole Miss HC wrote on X, “Happy birthday Knox. We are so blessed. So excited you will be coming back to the South where it all started 16 years ago!!! Where God 🏈 and Family is all that matters!!” So does it mean it’s time for a family reunion?

Lane Kiffin’s post hints at Knox Kiffin relocating to Oxford, Mississippi, with his mother, Layla. Yes, the Ole Miss HC has patched with his wife nearly a decade after their divorce in 2016. This would bring the family together. Looks like Presley’s stuck in LA—she’s gotta finish her studies at USC. Plus, Lane’s daughter is part of USC’s women’s volleyball team. Meanwhile, staying by his father’s side, Knox will have Lane as his mentor all day, every day.
