“It’s pretty simple. I win,” Curt Cignetti answered when asked about him attracting new players to the program. The new head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers football team is receiving significant applause. He has led the team to an impressive 7-0 record, marking their best start since 1967. Did you know that? Last Saturday, the Hoosiers achieved a resounding 56-7 victory over Nebraska, which not only maintained their undefeated status but also showcased their dominance in the Big Ten Conference.
Hoosiers are fortunate to have Cignetti as their leader. He is not only in the headlines because of the current season. He has an impressive track record at previous football programs as well. He started his coaching career in 1983; since then, he has guided more than 10 teams. Analyst Joe DeLeone shed light on his achievements and the impact of his coaching approach.
In the latest episode of The Ruffino & Joe Show—Weekly College Football, the former player of the University of Rhode Island, Joe, showed deep respect for Curt Cignetti’s coaching abilities. “I give Coach Cignetti a ton of props, and I have said this. And I’ve said this a million times, and I bring it up in any opportunity that somebody brings up. I played against this band when I was at Uri, and this dude when he was at Elon and he was at JMU, kicked the sh-t out of us.”
