Is Kalen DeBoer the right man to lead Bama, or is it time for a change?

But we are not gonna lose our cool over that.” Maybe you should’ve Coach, maybe you should’ve. The Vandy thrashing should’ve been THE wake-up call for Kalen DeBoer and the Tide. However, as we saw today, it wasn’t the case. Bama coming off of a loss against an unranked team not only puts the team in the bracket of losing out on the playoffs but also exposes the flaws Kalen DeBoer has failed to iron out. However, they did win today but naturally, Bama fans ain’t happy with it.

William Galloway took to X to share the update on what Bama fans felt after they spotted Kalen DeBoer smiling post-win. “Alabama fans this week: mad a coach is smiling after a win,” Galloway mentioned. Listen, as petty as it sounds, if we were in the shoes of a die-hard Tide fan, we would be angry as well. The entire was a lighter fest (and not in a good way). While DeBoer and Co did start with a touchdown, and everything looked great, things started falling apart really fast.

It was a repeat telecast of the Vandy game. The offense was off by a huge margin. Allowing Jalen Milroe to be picked off during half and also a disaster onside kick. If all of that wasn’t enough, the salt in the wound was the Gamecocks losing because of a very minor error.

With the ball in their hands after a fumble by Bama, the Gamecocks almost had it. Right near the endzone, it was just one pass, and the Tide was going to get crushed by another unranked opponent. However, the pass from the Gamecocks QB missed by a major margin and hit the sidelines.

However, the main thing that we all gotta focus on is the fact that Bama is getting considerably worse every week. While every other team on the board is improving, Kalen DeBoer and his powerhouse are sinking low. It feels like Kirby Smart probably cast a curse on the Crimson Tide or something. With all that’s going on, can DeBoer manage to turn things around again?

What’s your perspective on:

Is Kalen DeBoer the right man to lead Bama, or is it time for a change?

A stain on the legacy

You gotta keep this in mind; DeBoer has taken over a program that was spearheaded by the best coach in CFB, Nick Saban. So, the pressure is high. There is no way DeBoer and fumble 2 back-to-back games against unranked teams. It leaves a stain which ain’t gonna wash off anytime soon. Going to Rocky Top next game, DeBoer has to make this count.

The Vols have been on a solid run since the season started. While it was cut short by Arkansas, Tennessee ain’t gonna make it easy for Bama. This is going to be a major game in the SEC and can be the final nail in the coffin. If Kalen DeBoer does not iron out the inconsistencies that are happening with the offense and defense, then Bama fans are going to disown him.

The entire win against Georgia means nothing if you cannot maintain the same momentum going deeper into the schedule. Bama survives now, but let us know what you think they are going to do next time they hit that turf.
