The Vandy beating should have alerted Kalen DeBoer and the Tide. However, as we have seen today, that is untrue. Alabama’s loss against an unranked team not only keeps them out of the postseason picture but also exposes the flaws in the head coach’s management style. Despite winning a wobbly game against South Carolina, Kalen DeBoer and the team did not feel like the dominant squad they were. In the midst of all the Monday blues, Kalen DeBoer has some good news.
On October 18, Washington football posted a picture of Kalen DeBoer’s daughter, Alexis DeBoer, on their official IG account with the caption, “Get to know #️⃣1️⃣6️⃣ Alexis DeBoer!” Yes, while Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is working hard to prepare for the SEC race, his daughter Alexis DeBoer is also making big progress. Now that DeBoer’s daughter has joined the Washington Huskies softball program, the program her father had coached for a while.

Sources claim that in an effort to fulfil its Big Ten aspirations, the program signed a talented freshmen class for 2024 that includes Alexis. However, Alexis DeBoer’s first day of the UW camp was July 9. As of right now, the daughter of DeBoer will be a member of Coach Heather Tarr’s six-player class as the Huskies get ready to join the Big10.
Being a member of Washington, Alexis DeBoer considered herself fortunate. She commemorated her first day of working out with the squad by re-sharing a story from one of her teammates that had the words “UW CAMP DAY 1!!” pinned on it.

Alabama is headed to Rocky Top, and it doesn’t appear likely that they will emerge victorious from this match. Following their consecutive humiliations against two unranked teams, DeBoer and Co. are steadily deteriorating. Might the Vols be the last straw that breaks the mold?

The most recent meeting between Alabama and the Vols was in 2023. The Tide, playing at home, won the game by 34-20. When did the Vols win against Bama? Well, in arguably one of the finest SEC games ever played in the 2022 season, the Vols’ 52-49 victory was their first success since 2006. The record since 2006? 16-1 to Bama, and what’s common in all those years. The Crimson Tide had the GOAT (Nick Saban) leading them into the battle against their rivals. Saban is no longer there, and under a new head coach, the Tide have looked gettable.
On the other hand, after losing against Arkansas, the Vols are now 4-1. However, the Vols’ offense hasn’t looked that good lately, and they are coming against a defense short of confidence. This may be where the game gets decided because Jalen Milroe will most likely come out of his bad outing against South Carolina.
