Jordan Seaton, the freshman sensation from IMG Academy, has quickly become a name to reckon with in the college football world. Standing tall at 6’5″ and weighing in at 285 pounds of sheer athleticism, the Buffs’ offensive tackle isn’t just making waves on the field—he’s shaking up the entire college football landscape. Seaton turned heads when he famously turned down a “multi-million dollar” NIL deal to commit to Deion Sanders’ Colorado, proving that his loyalty and vision extend far beyond the dollar signs.
Before landing at Colorado, Seaton was one of the most sought-after recruits in the nation, with scholarship offers pouring in from nearly every top-tier program in college football. As a former consensus five-star recruit, he was already on everyone’s radar, but his decision to join the Buffs catapulted him into the spotlight even more. Known as “Big Seat” by his growing legion of fans, Seaton has amassed a dedicated following of 58K across social media platforms—45K on Instagram and 12.3K on X.
But it’s not just the fans who are showing love. Seaton’s talents have also attracted serious attention from sponsors. With an ON3 NIL evaluation of over $834K, he’s emerged as one of the highest-earning college football players in the game today. Currently ranked 20th among the highest-earning NIL college football players and 38th among all NIL-earning athletes, Big Seat is already making a significant impact in the world of Name, Image, and Likeness.

Jordan Seaton is among one of the highest NIL-earning athletes
There’s no denying that Deion Sanders has revolutionized college football, especially Colorado football ever since he took over as the Buffs’ head coach. Coach Prime, along with long-time donor and Colorado alumnus Eric Belcher and a group of fellow donors came together to create the 5430 Foundation in 2024. The 5430 Foundation caters to the financial needs of the student-athletes at Colorado and also helps them land sponsorships and deals. It was the same 5430 Foundation that landed Jordan Seaton his first NIL deal. Jordan Seaton appeared on the 5430 Collective’s launch video, alongside his teammate and superstar QB Shedeur Sanders.

Seaton also inked a pretty sweet deal with Electronic Arts and got himself featured on EA Sports’ highly-anticipated EA College Football 2025. Along with that, the OT also received $600 and a copy of the game as part of the NIL deals EA Sports worked out with players in exchange for their name, image, and likeness. In April this year, Seaton appeared on the Prime Time Elite Dinner campaign launched by 5430 Collective ahead of the spring game. The player’s NIL evaluation is enough to let the fans know that he made a significant amount from the campaign.

Seaton is giving it all for the Buffs
The OT has been training hard ever since he got into Colorado. From reshaping his physique to shifting to a pescatarian diet, Seaton is leaving no stone unturned to get some playtime this fall. For the five-star OT, “It’s been hard work, like literally hard work,” said Seaton during his first week. “Coach Prime don’t play and then me being an incoming freshman and having a big role as I do, I’ve got to come in and, you know, can’t be the 19-year-old that I am.” The Buffs are gearing up to kick off the season in just a few days, and with Seaton and the other OTs getting ready, it’s certainly going to be thrilling to see what kind of magic Deion’s revamped defense brings to the field.
