The dad’s out of the game, but that doesn’t mean the daughter has forgotten her roots. When Jim Harbaugh decided to leave the Michigan Wolverines, the entire internet went up in flames.

Harbaugh gave Michigan one of the best years the team has ever experienced and how could we even forget the 2023 undefeated run and then the championship win? But boy oh boy, did things take a wrong turn this season. With the entire weight coming down on Sherrone Moore, the Michigan Wolverines ain’t that good.

The boys are on a 5 loss season and it feels like this is a team that is just a hollow shell of its 2023 counterpart. But that is not going to stop Grace Harbaugh from going all out for the team her father had coached.

Back on her Instagram story, Grace shared a snap of herself with the caption; “Yall already know… Go blue baby.” Michigan needs all the support it can get for this showdown. See, with Jim Harbaugh, the boys managed to snag a 30-24 win last season. But as we pointed out, this ain’t the same team y’all saw pick up the national championship trophy. This time around, it is OSU that is standing on the 2nd spot in the CFP list. Ryan Day‘s roster has been a menace this season.

The Buckeyes have had a hard schedule and have faced off against the top contenders on the playoff list (Penn State, Oregon, and Indiana). The biggest hallmark win of the season has to go to the Indiana game, though. Curt Cignetti and Co. were UNDEFEATED with ZERO signs of stopping.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Sherrone Moore revive the Wolverines, or is Michigan doomed without Harbaugh's magic touch?

Have an interesting take?

So what do Day and Chip Kelly do? Win the game with a 38-15 run, of course. And they plan on doing the same to the Wolverines. As we pointed out before, Moore ain’t having the best time this season.

And much of the issues stem from Harbaugh leaving behind a broken team. With JJ McCarthy out and multiple others leaving for the NFL, Michigan’s offense and defense have been all over the place. A look at their games proves that. They lost 21-7 to a team like Illinois but somehow got a 50-pointer game against Northwestern. So when we come down to this showdown, do the Wolverines even have a shot at winning against OSU?

10-10. Yeah, you’re not blind. We don’t know what is going on with the Buckeyes and the Wolverines. From what we saw in the first half, it’s easy to figure out that Michigan has stepped up its defensive game. They managed to catch off an interception and have barely allowed the Buckeyes to run the football.

On the other hand, with the constant switching between Alex Orji and Davis Warren, it means Moore is trying to confuse the Buckeyes defense. But the most glaring issue in this showdown is the Buckeyes offense.

Listen, we don’t know what Chip Kelly is doing. It is pretty straightforward that Michigan is trying to curb the running game of OSU and this gives Kelly the perfect chance to focus on the passing play. Jeremiah Smith has not been used properly yet. Dude has managed to snag in 1 touchdown for OSU, but Ryan Day should focus more on making plays around Smith.

If things go on the way they are going, then yeah Michigan does have a shot at winning against OSU. The second half is gonna start and we shall see if Day and Co. manage to step up or not.
