September 1 gifted CFB fans with back-to-back surprises. First, it was Lincoln Riley’s poor time management that led the LSU Tigers to tie with the USC Trojans. Just when the fans thought that it was over for their entertainment quota for the evening, entered former LSU Tiger player Jayden Daniels. The player was spotted doing a happy dance when the Tigers gave Riley’s squad a tough time.

Sadly, the cheers turned to jeers faster than expected. After all, USC QB Miller Moss and his tribe turned the Tigers into mere specks of dust with their heroic win. And two Trojans ruined Daniels’ sunshine with a thunderstorm.

Jayden Daniels turns sideline into dance floor amidst Trojans’ mistake

The now-Washington Commanders QB had dropped for the season opener at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Daniels was spotted at the sidelines as the crowd kept up with the LSU cheer. Daniels was spotted, sporting a wide ear-to-ear grin. And then the QB just got too carried away with the celebration as he stepped into the gridiron while holding what appeared to be a towel. There, he showcased some hilarious dancing moves.

However, it was because of Riley’s whoopsie moves that granted Daniels the big chance to celebrate. The Trojans HC wasted more than a minute that could have made use to stop Tigers from making their field goal attempt. And LSU did not let it pass and ended up tying at half-time.

Other than hyping up his former team, Daniels had been handed a special responsibility for the evening. Since he will always be a legend at LSU, the now Tigers QB Garrett Nussmeier got lucky to receive the torch from Daniels who now has the NFL tag. However, little did Nussmeier expect that he would be out-dueled so badly by Moss within hours.

Miller Moss’ last-minute field goal and Kyron Hudson’s heroics sealed the deal

Even though things had been tough for the Trojans, their QB Moss was all poised and steady. He spread the ball around and adhered to the structure of the scheme. And it did reap great results in their 27-20 victory defeating the Tigers. Things started turning for the better after Moss came up with a 28-yard touchdown pass that gave USC a 20-17 lead with only 5 minutes and 44 seconds left. Even though LSU QB Garrett Nussmeier had initially given Moss and his teammates a few droplets of cold sweat, Riley’s phenom threaded a pass down the sideline and came up with a comfortable field goal when only 30 seconds were left.

If you think Moss only claimed all the spotlight, then you are mistaken. As the newcomer wideout Kyron Hudson took the field for his first college football run, he left the CFB fans buzzing with excitement. As Moss struggled during the initial part of the game, Hudson responded to his teammate in an amazing feat.

The wideout tackled two Tigers defenders and at the same time kept his balance. He then took a leap in the air and caught hold of the ball passed on to him by Miller Moss using only one hand. In this way, the QB and wideout together wrecked Jayden Daniels’ dance parade with a rainstorm of defeat.
