In that discussion, Red Morgan talked about his craziest experience on the team, saying, “Man, when Saban retired, that was wild. That was one of the craziest moments. It was our first day, our first meeting with Saban, and I thought he’d just come give us a pep talk after the Michigan loss. But then he said he was retiring, and my mind was racing.”

Morgan also mentioned how he was looking forward to learning from Saban and wanted to leave the team as soon as he got the news, saying, “Honestly, I thought about leaving. I think everyone did.
