Davis Warren had a roller coaster journey emerging as Michigan’s top recruit for the quarterback position. His health issues were a major setback in his journey. How let’s know about the whole situation.

Warren was diagnosed with leukemia in the year 2019, but cancer couldn’t stop him from playing even after his first round of chemo. Davis kept on playing in local fields. But destiny had other plans. His entire senior season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Without many highlight reels to showcase his skills, he faced difficulty in getting recruited by colleges or receiving any recognition. Despite that, he earned a spot on the Michigan team as a preferred walk-on, but there was no game action. His hard work finally paid off when Warren caught the attention of Michigan fans in the spring game by passing for 175 yards. And finally secured the position of backup quarterback for McCarthy in September 2022. Davis won a national championship with Michigan last year, which makes him a valuable asset for the team this season.
