Can anyone stop the Dawgs after their dominant win over Texas and Clemson?

They underestimated Carson Beck, and they underestimated what Kirby Smart’s monster can do. Going against the Texan roster, a lot of people out there had thought that Kirby Smart wouldn’t probably pull a W out of this game. But look at the scoreboard; 30-15 win over the top team in CFB? Smart put his smart pants on for this showdown because the Georgia D-line barely allowed the Texan offense to run their game and this brings us to the main point of discussion.

After overthrowing the best on the board, can the Dawgs bark and smash their way to the playoffs? Dean Legge from UGA Football on Dawg Post thinks so. “It’s challenging for me to not say Georgia is the best team with double-digit wins over Texas at number five and Clemson at number nine…… So, Georgia with that win, is probably going to be in the playoff,” Legge noted. The Dawgs put up one he-k of a show last weekend.

Standing in the second spot on the Week 9 AP polls, the notorious Dawgs defense did everything right. The Longhorns only managed to bring in around 29 rushing yards. For a team that has been on a 6-win domination run, that’s LOW. Couple that up with the D-line’s ability to stop the infamous Texan run game, you get 2 quarters where the Longhorns scored ZERO points on the board.

And adding insult to injury, not only did Steve Sarkisian’s golden offensive fail, but the defense also failed at stopping Trevor Etienne. The Dawgs RB brought in 3 massive touchdowns for the team in the first, second, and final quarter of the game.

Look, we called it out way back; Sarkisian’s crosshairs should be on Etienne throughout. You allow this dude some space and he is in your endzone in the blink of an eye. And not only him, how can we forget about our QB Carson Beck? Dude has been averaging at least 300 yards in each game and he was the biggest challenge Quinn Ewers had to face. Now, with the biggest hurdles out of the way, ain’t nothing gonna stop Kirby Smart from reaching the playoffs. Right?

Ain’t nothing stopping the Georgia Bulldogs!

Coming off of that massive win, Kirby Smart will be going against Florida. Listen, we all know how this one is going to turn out. While the Gators did manage to score a surprising W against the Kentucky Wildcats, it doesn’t mean they gonna win against the Dawgs. Billy Napier and his offense and defense have been in shambles since the start. However, after QB Graham Mertz was out, DJ Lagway took over and that guy could be a possible threat.

Have an interesting take?

But it ain’t nothing Carson Beck can’t handle. Against the Texan army, it was Beck’s 21st combined start. He dominated till the end with massive passes and covering 175 yards with 3 interceptions. The redemption era for Smart is now over. After the Bama loss, the Georgia Bulldogs have successfully managed to bounce back, and it doesn’t look like anything can stop them now.
