The Colorado Buffs are heading to week 14 with a slim playoff hope. Even if they manage to avoid a fourth loss in the season against Oklahoma, they will still need help from the rest of the conference to get into the Big 12 championship game. Regardless of fate, they need a win in week 14 for the sake of prestige, and Deion needs his key weapon, son Shedeur, by his side for that. Destiny heard him and played it safe for the 22-year-old during an upsetting game against Kansas. Although the Buffs’ failed to pull off a win, Sheduer Sanders remained harmless after DE Dean Millar did him dirty. You can rest assured the kid suits up for Oklahoma State. But what’s next? Will this be his final game in the black and gold jersey? An insider spilled a bombshell.
Given that Colorado will not be able to turn their fate and make it to the playoff through a narrow path, a bowl game awaits them right in the corner. Once a chaotic 12-team format settles the top dogs on Dec. 8, the Alamo Bowl will look to host a matchup featuring a team from the Big 12 and a team from the former Pac-12 conference. In that case, Colorado will get an edge and be taken first among the rest of the bowl-eligible teams as per the previous Pac-12 contract.
Despite not finishing the season on a satisfactory note, Deion Sanders has come far from last year’s humiliating 4-8. Earlier this season, they delivered pretty well under Sanders’s apt stewardship. The 11th-ranked team in Big 12 (pre-season) was able to draw a whopping 3.64 million eyeballs through week 11. Enough reason for them to play the Alamo Bowl. But the post-season run might not bring us the quintessential father-son duo on the field. Shedeur Sander’s clock is seemingly running out of time.

Adam Brenemen, on his reflective Black Friday takes, noted, ”I am going with Shedeur Sanders to close the season on the right note with more than 329.5 passing yards. Shedeur has only gone over this line in one of the last five games, and if this team doesn’t make the Big 12 championship, this very well may be his last college game. Shedeur is going to go out on a bang on the right note.”

Well, there is still no word on whether Travis and Shedeur will show up for the non-playoff bowl game, but technically, they shouldn’t. It might sound upsetting as a fan, but it is necessary to keep their NFL draft stock safe from any further potential injury. Especially because Shedeur has closely skipped a career-ending knee bump, Deion Sanders might not be interested in keeping him online for another meaningless postseason game.
That’s the angle Breneman is also taking. If the Buffs fail to get to the playoffs, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see Shedeur in Buffs’ colors again. So, this may be it. Savor all you can! Nonetheless, Coach Prime wasn’t at all worried about his son’s past week’s catastrophe.

Deion Sanders took the Shedeur Sanders’ potential injury threat lightly
When it comes to the NFL, Deion Sanders has a lot to say about where his son should ideally land after his Colorado farewell, but once he gets on the field, he likes to go tough. No unnecessary whining! No complaints! It’s just football. When the 22-year-old ended up taking a hit from Kansas DE Millar, marking a possible knee crumbling, Deion Sanders dished fearless advice. Instead of rushing to him on the field, Sanders even wanted to stop the staff from running to the field to get him some help. He knows what his son can do. Sanders said someone got up and took Shedeur to the tent, had a few chill-out moments, and instilled resilience in them not to get out of the play.
However, as a lucrative NFL career knocks on the door, Sanders has to do more in picking up the ideal suitor for his son. There is a slew of schools awaiting their luck with the Sanders kid, but the young prodigy will only go by his dad’s opinion of this. But Deion is not going to have any direct influence on Shedeur’s NFL pick. In case he notices any wrong franchise gets their hands on him, he will resist it for sure, but not in public.
