Feldman started by recalling the time Brian Kelly had just joined the Tigers in the 2022 season. Feldman reflected on how he had predicted the same thing he was talking about a few years ago. Kelly is not a good fit for LSU! Although he amazed everyone with a 10-4 record in the 2022 season, it wasn’t over the top as Feldman believed.

Fast forward to today’s scenario, and the hosts pointed out that Kelly is failing to do justice for his head coaching job at the LSU Tigers. “It’s just not been a very good fit. And it’s hard to sit there and go, oh yeah, that this is going to get pivoted, and it’s going to all of a sudden go in the right direction. I mean, yes, there’s no Nick Saban in the SEC or college football, but there is still a deep group of teams that are built to make runs for national titles. And if you don’t have a guy who people think epitomizes what you need at that given program. I think you’re fighting an uphill battle, and he just doesn’t inspire much confidence right now.”

As the experts say, the college football world we’re living in currently is not dominated by the GOAT Nick Saban, but still, some teams are shining brighter than the sun in the current season. Meanwhile, if Kelly is not picking up the pace, he’s not going to survive in this continuously evolving world of football.
