Will 'Scarlett N Cream' have to eat their words, or will Indiana pull off the upset?

What do you get when you pit the No.6 top-ranked defense against the No.2 top offense? You get the Huskers vs the Hoosiers. Matt Rhule is on his way to grab an easy ticket into the playoffs and the only dynasty that stands in their way are Curt Cignetti and his rejuvenated offensive line that has managed to capture 47.5 points per game. The seats are sold out and the fans are ready for this showdown. But wait, we just got some news that someone will probably make a new world record.

Leave it to the CFB fans to make the most outlandish claims when it comes down to talking about their teams. Back on On3, Andy Staples makes it clear to Curt Cignetti that there are some high stakes involved in the upcoming game. “This person’s name is ‘Scarlett N Cream’. Says, if Indiana beats Nebraska, I’ll shove an ear of corn up my a–,” Staples mentioned with a somewhat straight face. Dude, this is going to be epic. “IF” the Hoosiers manage to bring the Huskers down, make sure you text ‘Scarlett N Cream’ for the live video. But before that even happens, there is one major thing we just gotta address.

The big “IF“.

See, don’t get us wrong. The Hoosiers are on a solid run this year. With 6 back-to-back wins, Curt Cignetti’s new dynasty has managed to crack the No.32 spot on the nationally-ranked rushing offense. These guys have averaged 200+ yards in all of their 6 games. Then credit goes to the 3 top-notch RBs Cignetti’s managed to bring on board.

Ty Son LawtonJustice Ellison, and Kaelon Black have managed to keep the ship on a stable route. But are they enough to break through the wall that the Huskers’ defense is? While it is true that Rhule and Co. suffered a disastrous loss against the Illini, it never broke the spirit of the team.

The defensive line has managed to hold 4 different teams to less than 100 yards. 2 notable names are Purdue and Rutgers. The most impressive part is the fact that somehow this D-line managed to hold back Sarclet Knights RB Kyle Monangai.

What’s your perspective on:

Will 'Scarlett N Cream' have to eat their words, or will Indiana pull off the upset?

Have an interesting take?

A season-low 72 yards for this guy.

Why this is such a big deal? Because Monangai is the second lead rusher in the entire Big 10. This season, Matt Rhule has cooked something that no ordinary team can break through. We ain’t even gonna talk about the offense because we already know how elite QB Dylan Raiola is. But (yes, there is always a but) there is someone who can turn things around for Cignetti. Can you guess who?

Can Kurtis Rourke cut down the Huskers?

See, let’s get some facts out of the way. Till now, the Huskers will arguably be the strongest team the Hoosiers are going to face. Curt Cignetti and Co. are coming off of the 6 wins against underpowered teams. So, the final nail in the coffin during this showdown will come from QB Kurtis Rourke.

In 6 games, this dude has already managed to cross the 1700-yard line and has collected 14 touchdowns for his team. He has been the lucky charm for Cignetti and has a completion rate of 73.8%. These stats are no joke. What will matter now is if the Hoosiers’ offensive line manages to give Rourke the protection he needs.

Dude has already topped the PFF 2025 NFL Draft stock and we won’t be surprised if he manages to dominate against Rhule and Co. What we gotta see now is if ‘Scarlett N Cream’ has to go through with their promise or not.
