And he can’t keep away from controversy. The 2024 season for the Buffs and Shedeur Sanders has been full of ups and downs. The NDSU game was a close call and the Huskers’ defeat was the harsh reality check Deion Sanders and Shedeur needed. Going up against the Rams, everyone had thought that this would be a lost cause as well.

Surprise-surprise, the offensive line did everything right this time around. Shedeur was protected in the pickets and went on to grab 4 touchdowns and a 36-49 pass connected. You give this guy some support and he will show you why he is one of the best QBs in CFB. However, post-match, things weren’t that happy.

Video of Shedeur saying “You can’t f–k with me” and then refusing to shake hands with Rams QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi soon surfaced, and it led to the gates of hate opening up once again. But now, on Well Off Media, Shedeur and Deion Sanders Jr. are here to hit back at all the haters. “Should’ve shaken his hand, bro,” Deion Jr. joked. “I’m just gonna let them talk about my family? I’m a human too,” Shedeur replied.

His decision of not shaking hands might come off as unsportsmanlike, but you also gotta keep in mind that Brayden was bashing Shedeur back on social media before the game. We have all seen and known that Shedeur never caves in when someone decides to throw shade on him or his family, and this is one quality he has inherited from Deion Sanders. However, the 28-9 win and absolute domination over the Rams should’ve been the perfect response to Brayden’s trash-talking.

Even Travis Hunter made it personal on the gridiron when Brayden called him “too small”. Hunter had the last laugh when he intercepted a pass from Brayden and returned the football to 38 yards after slipping past multiple defenders. Hunter went on to grab 13 passes, 100 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 defensive interception during the game. This is the first time in over 20+ years that this has happened in CFB. However, we still gotta talk about Shedeur and his “attitude” on the turf.

While the entire scene with the Rams QB is still understandable, what happened during the 4th quarter of the Huskers game is not acceptable at all. With 2 minutes left on the clock, Shedeur decided to pack his bags and leave the field early. This is bad. This is what ultimately unsportsmanlike behavior is. Fans were quick to call him out on this, marking him as a “nepo baby”, and he never bothered to reply.

After the game was over, in the post-game conference, Shedeur went on to bash his offensive line as well. Yes, it is understandable that he was frustrated because the O-line failed to protect him and caused 5 sacks, but turning hostile towards your teammates ain’t the way to resolve this. At least the Buffs fans are glad to see things finally change during the Rams game. If Coach Prime and his boys keep up this momentum, then they can finally redeem themselves this year.
