Were the Colorado boys under some spell in Saturday’s 28-31 fall to Kansas State? Isn’t it unbelievable that four of their receivers got injured during the same game? But that happened, and not only did it affect the receivers physically, but it cost the entire team in the form of facing a defeat. Reacting to Saturday’s game, Shedeur Sanders said, “I never thought four receivers would get injured in on game. That’s just ridiculous, but things happen. Life happens, so we just gotta roll with it and do what we gotta do for next week.” Do you know who was the first among them to get out of the field following an injury?

Jimmy Horn Jr. was injured when he took a hit after a 12-yard catch. Everyone saw him going to the sidelines, but no one saw him coming back. He was there on the sidelines wearing his jersey, boosting his team. And just two plays after Horn was injured, Travis Hunter also faced an injury. With two leading stars staying on the sidelines, the Colorado game was already half-won by Kansas State.

And we know how that ended. Although it first seemed as if the Buffs would still pull out a win, it didn’t happen. And it’s college football, man! If a team wins, fans see them as heroes, and if the same team loses the following week, the same people start trolling as well. Jimmy Horn Jr. is also telling the same story. Following Colorado’s loss, he shared his thoughts on ‘X’ by writing, “I get tired of y’all ahh please stay on yo side of the bleachers.” He said, urging Colorado fans to keep calm during this moment. No need to worry, Jimmy, because the Buffs are the kind of team in college football that has the most loyal fans.

It’s really not fair to hate on them when we all know in what kind of circumstances they lost this game. Although it can’t be an excuse, what do you expect from a team that lost four of their best receivers during a game? With that, let’s learn more about the details of their injuries

Injury reports of Colorado boys

CU buffs faced a major loss when Heisman candidate Travis Hunter, who plays as a cornerback and as a receiver, suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter. He took a hit after a 14-yard catch, and it looked like his shoulder got hurt. He even stayed for the next few plays before going out of the field.

After Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr., sophomore Omarion Miller took the stage with eight catches for 145 yards, but the third play of the fourth quarter turned out unlucky for him as he caught a 41-yard pass from Shedeur Sanders and faced a leg injury. He was even assisted with a wheelchair coming out of the field.

To that, Coach Prime said, “I saw Omarion in about, kind of cast. I thank God we have everything we need on the second floor here in this wonderful building. But I have not gotten an update on those particular young men. Hopefully, they could get back at it, but we’re not going to rush them. Their safety and their health is much more important in this game.” Deion Sanders, being a supportive coach, was more concerned for his boys’ health than to take stress on the final result of the game.
