After this, if you still think it ain’t HE12MAN, then you gotta get checked out. Going into this game, Travis Hunter had a lot of mud on him. Kansas State was a nightmare for the guy because of the shoulder injury, and it also followed him to the Arizona game. So, Travis Hunter needed redemption and redemption he got on that turf when the Buffs faced off against the Bearcats. 34-23 win? He-k yeah, Deion Sanders has done it. 4-8 what? The boys now stand on a solid 6-2 run and they are gonna come for more.
And amidst all this, you know who everyone is more happy for? That’s right, Travis Hunter. Even his fiancee couldn’t hold back her joy. Back on Instagram, Hunter posted a new picture with the 6-word caption, “I’m Making Records Not Chasing Them‼️” and Leanna Lenee jumped right in to hype up her man. “😍😍 HIM,” Lenee wrote in the comment section. Boy, oh boy, did Hunter make the Buffs fans proud. 9 whole catches followed by covering 153 yards? All of this right after recovering from his injury? Are you kidding?

You know the best part of the game? It was the 0.03 34-yard touchdown Hunter landed. The pocket was collapsing and while the Buffs were still in the lead with 17-14 on the board, Shedeur Sanders wanted more. So he passed the ball over to Hunter at the end-zone and BAM.
Dude dived right in and the 2nd quarter ended with a blast. This right here is the golden child of Colorado football and Deion Sanders. We knew this dude was going to be explosive. He-k, after his Outta Pocket interview, he was yearning for his moment and he finally got it against Cincinnati.

Coming off this game, Hunter and his Heisman odds have managed to bounce right back. Ashton Jeanty made quite the name when CBS Sports showed his enormous stats next to the last 3 Heisman winning RBs. No joke, this dude is special. HOWEVER. With Hunter back in form and playing both sides, the entire debacle with Ashton Jeanty winning and leaving Hunter behind is now over.
What’s your perspective on:
Is Travis Hunter the true Heisman contender we've all been waiting for this season?

HE12MAN
+1500. That was where Hunter stood before the Bearcats game. He was in the 4th spot, however, but he had a long way to go. If you check up on FanDuel, QBs Dillion Gabriel and Cameron Ward, followed by RB Ashton Jeanty, were the leading stars.

And now? With +330, Hunter sits on the comfortable 2nd rank on the FanDuel Heisman odds. Nothing is stopping this dude from grabbing that cup. With the Buffs securing their spot for the Bowl games, they could even crack it for the playoffs. From what we say, the offense and defense were ON POINT.
They provided Shedeur with enough protection and also managed to keep the football out of the end-zone. In the entire showdown, the Bearcats only managed to sneak in 3 touchdowns along with barely 180 passing yards. Pretty sure fans cannot wait to see what Coach Prime and Co. manage to get done in their remaining 4 games.
